Didn't know that. I genuinely thought it meant mercenary when I first read it, and thought it was harsh but could have been translation problems. When you said it, I thought it confirmed my initial opinion, and now I find your joking lol I look the fool:cautious:
TBF, It does mean mercenary in the context of a soldier, so it probably means being paid to temporarily work for a team (or something along those lines).

I dont think you could legit call someone a mercenary that has only ever been employed by 1 club. With all the negative things I've seen Spurs fans say about him, I dont think mercenary has been one of them.

The proposal is for a max of eight players over 21 out on loan at any time. Still no restrictions on U21 loans.

Chavs currently have 40 players out on loan, 27 (!) of which are over 21.

That’s their transfer budget sorted for next summer then.

Wouldn't fault him for wanting to leave. No reported attitude issues, shows up to training on time, is one of the best trainers in the team and still can't even get a start in a cup game

No Amos No skipp Not even a Walker peters starting , if your not going to play the youth in these games , when are they going to get their chance . I’m beginning to think all our youth was right to leave and expect to see more on the move soon .

These issues were overblown with other players imo and are typical issues with all teenagers across the country now and ten years ago

I saw Windy tweet this, and someone replied with the classic 'surely if he was good enough he would be playing' this is the argument that has always been used. Do people still believe this? At what point may people start to think, you know what people who might actually be good enough aren't getting a chance. It's the League Cup smh

and if he's not good enough, then shouldn't them same people be concerned that there's a guy often on the Spurs bench who isn't ever good enough to play for them?

It happens at every club, fans never want to sell youth players or get angry when they try to leave, but then the same fans never want them to play and say they must be crap. So cyclical.

I wonder with Edwards if we tried the "tough love" approach at Norwich and as that didn't work are now trying something a bit different?

As for KWP if he is 100% fit and not playing tonight you'd have to think he needs to go out on loan - disappointing to say the least.

I wonder if Trent Arnold would of had the same success if was in the academy

We know he wouldn't.

Two players we almost signed that would have gone straight into our academy fared well against us tonight in Quina and Wilmot. Ours are nowhere to be seen. If they came here they would be nowhere near that situaiton. Quina has made some decent decisions, and was brave leaving Chelsea in the first place

Depending on aurier injury KWP may have a chance for sat. If aurier is unavailable for sat and Barca , will Poch play Trip on Sat knowing if he is injured he only has KWP left.

I really hope KWP gets the opportunity but I wouldn't put it past Poch to play Sissoko as a RWB instead.

Poch clearly has a talent for improving young players but he seems like a destructive black hole for our youth, strange, especially given our financial constraints
. I’ve never read his book simply for the reason what I hear is in it and the evidence in front of me are polar opposites. I can’t be arsed with jackanory

Trippier will play Saturday I’d imagine. I think they’d view 10 days with no game to much. On the other hand with WC fatigue who knows. I think Aurier be at least 2 weeks likely more.

Trouble is every year that passes the pressure grows for poch to win something, anything.

Or would Kane and Winks had the same opportunity at Liverpool? All depends on the circumstances prevailing at the time as to whether a youth player get an opportunity at a big club.
