Can everyone stop moaning. If you don't want to go just give your season ticket to someone who supports the club properly through thick or thin, come rain or shine, in sickness and in health

There are literally millions of people just waiting for the opportunity to have a ST at one of the most successful trophy laden clubs in World Football

How anybody can turn down the opportunity to visit the home of football every other week, one of the most iconic stadiums in the World just beggars belief

You should be ashamed and need to take a long hard look at yourself

See you all next year....

Edit: just realised you were being sarcastic, my bad!

I’m so fucked off with it all, it’s turned me blind to jokes and in to an idiot.

What worries me most about all the above comments is fans getting out of the ‘habit’ of going to Spurs every other week and may decide they haven’t missed it that much so maybe won’t bother in the long term.
What I most hated at Wembley on Monday was all the ‘tourists’ with their half and half scarves taking dozens of selfies, doesn’t help the atmosphere.
I’ll still be there though cheering on my team?

I don't mind going when there's time like a weekend fixture, but this Monday night was not possible for me. I've booked my holidays up at work now. I'm sure there are others at this time of the year who have no holiday left too. Although I did use my remaining holidays for the 2 CL games next month. Maybe not the best choice but it's Champions League so fuck it. The Southampton midweek game will be another low attendance I imagine. You have to factor time off for midweek along with the cost of tickets/travel, and its bloody cold now which doesn't help. I'll squeeze one game in December I think, either Burnley or Boxing Day against Bournemouth.

I actually think we should boycott one the home games at Wembley so the board realises they need to stop taking the piss out of the fans.

They’re a disgrace, it makes me so angry.

The Liverpool fans walked out of a game and their board listened, it needs a moment like that for our board to changer their approach.
That would only have a negative impact on the players though. We need to go and support the team wherever the game is. The expense and hassle of Wembley is really unfortunate I admit. I can't blame fans for not wanting to go but full credit to those that do.

Ha I actually got my first half and half scarf at the Barca game. That's only because Barca are my second team though. Wembley definitely feels like a tourist spot but then so is Camp Nou. When the new Stadium opens everyone will be back in the mood to go again. Maybe some who haven't gone for some time will start going again too. Besides the tourists who watch us might start to follow us too which can't be bad. Although maybe not with the way we're playing these days.

I, like many others feel your pain.

The problem with grouping together and actually doing something about the way the club communicates and treats us is a virtually impossible one

The history with a club and city like Liverpool in relation to Trade Unions and People Power etc is a strong and meaningful one. The thought of Spurs supporters rising up against the bosses, Mmmmm not sure about that

I'm in though mate. Viva la revolucion

I've not read it anywhere but was the capacity limited on Monday?
Wembley are only allowed so many full capacity games a season, and had to apply for additional games for last season. I've not read they've done that for this season.

Otherwise clearly season ticket holders feel they are being taken advantage of, but missing out on the cat A games does not seem the best idea to me. OK the game did not get going until the end but another day could have been the game of the season. And to be able to say you were there has value.

Nope, there were people scattered across the top tier.

I’m one of those who has voted with my feet. I fully expected to be in our new stadium by now, the fact we are not is disappointing BUT understandable. What has really pissed me off is the way we have been treated by the club. Having to apply for our refund on a regular basis, having to on some occasions pay more for a Wembley ticket compared to the value of the refund.

Even now, we have announced no games in our new stadium until at least Jan 2019, and I don’t believe we will play any there this season. Despite knowing this, why can’t the club refund mine and my sons money in one lump sum for those 5 games. Mine works out to be the best part of £400. The club had no issue with taking £1500 from me upfront before the season started so at least reciprocate with my refund.

I love the team etc etc but this has peed me off enough to not spend my money on going to Wembley for any game this season.

When I bought my season ticket last year it was on the understanding we'd be there for one season. It is very hard to get to and I did not enjoy the experience one bit. I renewed on the basis that we would be in this new stadium, and paid more for the privilege. I do not want to go to Wembley because of the club's bungling of the stadium. Today the press are claiming we won't be in until February, so I am now inclined to believe the previously mentioned claims of safety issues were a cover. Levy clearly hasn't been keeping proper track of the project and just relied on whatever vague assurances he was given by contractors. That is irresponsible. On top of that he has the nerve to charge us over the top prices for the season tickets, expects us to pay more than last year for category A matches at Wembley and has a poor system for match refunds. Hell, I still haven't got my welcome pack despite beging told nearly a month ago it was on its way. I also resent the lack of investment in the squad and having to watch our best manager in decades clearly frustrated, investment we were promised would happen irrespective of the stadium.

The whole thing is a shambles. I resent the way we and the manager have been treated by the club and I do not intend to go to Wembley again. My next game will be the first fixture in the new stadium. The rest of my season ticket money is going back into my pocket. The way I see it, that's the sort of language Levy understands.

You do realise you can't "give your season ticket to someone else", right? You get a refund and have to rebuy a ticket, So if you choose not to go, then the seat is free for someone else to purchase.

EDIT: saw your earlier post. Agree with the sarcasm.

If you read the THST board minutes, you can really get a grasp on how Levy and Cullen view the fans.

They completely take them for granted, hence why they charge extortionate prices for games at Wembley that was changed late and the day after an NFL game.

This game should have been cat c but they aren’t interested in keeping the fans onside.

If it wasn’t for Poch the whole club would be in a complete state of turmoil.

The PR management is laughable.

This is so true, would be an absolute disaster

I’m still going. If others don’t want to bother then fine with me. What annoys me is the season ticket holders who do go and stand there with zero emotion and don’t sing or do anything but are meant to be the most vocal. Block 134, I’m looking at you. They’ve all given up in that block next to me.

It can’t be that great for the players either. Wembley doesn’t seem like a great place to play regular football.

The atmosphere is so poor. It was better last season as season tickets holders got to know each other a bit but now I seem to be surrounded with visitors, and have a lot less vocal support near me. Not sure how many of the games I am going to get tickets for in December since they are pretty much all at bad times especially as it takes me a couple of hours without any queues to travel.

The club said that the Cardiff game was a reduced capacity game even though the top tier was open. It’s limited by capacity not number of tiers open

Yeah but they close sections when capacity is reduced, no sections were closed, fans were dotted around the entire top tier.

PSV currently looking at about 45k if that. Getting pretty desperate for the club. Hate seeing poch face every time he sits down and looks at that empty top tier. Should sell the other side so he sees it full lol.

Give the upper tier away to school children, younger people. Get some atmosphere in there. Let some youngsters watch a CL game

MAKE IT A FULL HOUSE! There are plenty of ways Spurs without trying to squeaze out every fucking penny....

Hate to say it I and have been to all the home games but the football has been pretty uninspiring (Cardiff was as drab as can be) though I actually enjoyed Monday and last night and I hope we might have turned a little corner in that respect

But a game at Wembley kicking off at 8 means I don't get in until 1 - there were nine of us where down to two going every game two have outright had enough and the other 5 are going to turn up when they want. Bare in mind we have all had season tickets since the early eighties and they treat season ticket holders terribly - one of the lads has been ill quite serious but bought a ticket for the PSV game but is now unable to go for medical reasons the club haven't responded to emails 45 quid for 30 years loyalty deary me
