TBH it was a cheeky comment based upon the last week. He was head and shoulders best player despite over doing it a few times.
Good to Know!

Sterling was the 9th player on my list of let go players but that is because he might have a value with loan or Transfer fees.

just found one match from Pape-cup. @IGSpur you know anyone?

Why are they playing futsal, is that something we do now. It looks like quite a lot of our players in that clip seemed uncomfortable with the format. Seen more coherent amateur teams play at my local sports centre in Madrid. Good for their development though..

Liverpool won that futsal thing. Saw a hysterical 2 minute clip on Anfield wrap “ you can even see the klopp influences here” ?

We've been doing it for the last 3/4 years now at least. I remember watching our current 2nd years playing it when they were u15s I think I believe it was the same tournament our u13s featured in last year. I can't remember the name. I'm sure you can find the full matches if you search the forum. This specific one the Pape Cup I think we have featured in the last 3 years. We won one of the years I think, when we had the gold 3rd kit, Walcott impressed me in it. But I agree with your assessment we are generally very poor when compared to the other teams. I believe it is used and played a lot more on the continent and as you say, you can see, we are less confident with it, which is why if you notice from @Anuth's updates we lose quite heavily in the games. It looks very uncoordinated and there is a lot of lumping it up there but as you say it is good for development.

Futsal is becoming a great excerise in youth coaching.

It helps kids to become technically better quicker than it does just playing normal football.

I assume they’ll be training this format as well as traditional methods.

When I was a youth coach of a local team we done a few tournaments but it was just starting out back then but once I became a academy scout for MK I pushed for them to introduce as a training method for the U9>U12 sections.

could be wrong but i think -

1. Adam Hayton
3. jordan hackett
2. Not Sure
4. Khalon Haysman
5. Renaldo Torraj
6. Max Hudson (i think)
7. roshaun mathurin
8. Ollie Turner (fairly sure)
9. dane scarlett

Made some changes above.

If that is Max Hudson and it looked like him when he was waiting to come on, I'm pleased he is still with us. I have commented on him in the past but thought he was released as had seen or heard nothing from him for a while now. Believed he suffered injuries. Can try and find out no.2 I did notice that Hackett posted that someone had been signed last year in defence he said, so could be him.

Just watched the match, and it really is horrible. For those who may watch I really should stress that these guys are a really talented group and they are playing football that is really alien to them. They will hopefully learn a lot from the tournament

Got to disagree. For me it always takes more desire and a positive attitude to try risky, positive or creative moves. You will get down on yourself or hear the moans & groans from the coaches and crowd if things don't come off.

It's always been safer for 1st team managers to promote less risky young players because they "know what they will get" from them. To dare is to do!

Which tend to be attacking players. Blooding a defensive minded player is always riskier. A mistake from then can lead to a goal.

The fact is the current youth is being blooded due to injuries. Skipp wouldn't be getting a look in if Dembele, Dier, Winks and Wanyama were all fit.

Go on Shaq, has Spurs blood running through him!

Barnet striker Shaquile Coulthirst says he wants to play Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round after scoring the winner to knock out Sheffield United.

Coulthirst, a product of Tottenham's academy, converted from the spot after Richard Stearman brought down Ephron Mason-Clark to secure a 1-0 win for the non-league side.

"I'm delighted for all the lads and the manager. Who knows how far we can get? I want Arsenal away - I used to play for Spurs so it would be nice to beat them there."

With Moura and dembele still out are only real “game changer” bench options are llorente and lamela. Can’t bring myself to include Nkoudou. Be great if poch included Parrott or Roles one can but dream.
