I'm at the game, feels like we change it up, nether team looking particularly great but we can't let them back in. Think we might need a change of shape.

Not sure if long balls forward is the strategy but it's troubling their defense. But I think we are doing that because they are closing us down. Eriksen has been excellent defensively but needs to be more on the ball. We need to find a way to get him more space

Hasn’t been the greatest display so far yet we have looked relatively comfortable. Reckon we will blow them away if our front 4 can step it up. Kane, Dele, Sonny, Eriksen haven’t really been at the races so far. Hope Poch has a wee word in their ear at HT and gets a response!!! COYS!!!

You know how I know harry was not offside?

The ball is in the back of the net, and the score says 1-0

Nothing else matters...

Barkley is spreading the play well, our midfield is having to cover a lot of ground. I'm not sure we have the personnel on the Bench to change tactics much.

If anyone needs to know about the penalty, the rules around the penalty, and the offside being onside, please scroll through the thread and read it. ?

Sometimes, as much as it hurts, you have to give the opposition credit. They're not pressing our cb's like maniacs, instead they're dropping a little and contesting the middle third of the pitch where they're a lot stronger. It's made difficult viewing because unless Eriksen or Alli drop in deeper we're confined to sideways and backwards passing until we find a full back via the keeper.

To do this though, Hazard is having to come back in the middle of the field which has left them no striker to play into. It has helped them get possession but has hurt them because until the last 5 or so minutes they did not have anyone getting into the box to receive the ball.

We are so slow moving the ball around though. I've lost count of the amount of times over this season where we've had a free kick or throw in just inside the opposition half and it's ended up going back to our keeper in 30 seconds or less.

Winks is meant to be good on the ball, so why is Eriksen dropping deeper all the time? We need him a few yards further up to thread the passes through.

Yeah the ball is not getting to any of our creative / dangerous players in good positions often enough.

Happy with score but a few adjustments might make it easier viewing.

This place is dead. Box park wasn't bad pre game but this is wank.
The boxpark's already open? When I was there for a tour of Wembley in November when I came over, that place wasnt near finished at all. Went to the boxpark in Croydon after Palace away to meet up with a mate from around there. Was pretty fun.

Many of our goals v Chelsea are like that

Pretty sure Oliver doesn’t want us to win this game. Hasn’t given us anything. If it wasn’t for VAR we’d never of got the penalty
