I appreciate you scouting report but - and this had nothing to do with your view on CCV - having 1st option on a player doesn't mean much as Spurs would lose out on that player to any club that offers more than Spurs for the concerned player.

Got 4 or 5 loanee lads that might leave this summer, depending on what Poch thinks of them for next season.

That said, the money made could go towards a Grealish or a Sessegnon.

I am at the youth matches most weeks and have watched CCV play for a good few years before we started to send him out on loan.

I have always liked CCV and he is still one of the strongest players I have seen come through our youth system but he needs to be playing football every week like he has been the last few seasons.
