Ok, smart arse- is this a reputable source? Asking for a dad making tea for lots of children

For the record, they were first to call our interest in one of Lucas or Aurier, and with the other they were spot on the whole way through. No idea regarding other reports tho, but I'd pay attention to them.

EDIT: Just checked, it was Lucas

Him and sissoko would be bigger than the Great Wall of China . The shield ? in front of the back 4

And this is definitely a Poch 'type' of signing.

What a sighing this would be. ?

This is clearly moving, so credit to the club for trying to get it done, and so early. Already a drastic shift from this time last year. Whether he chooses to go elsewhere or not, good to see we're going all out for him - we can only try.

Agree with this. He looks like a marginally more technical Sissoko imo. I don’t really agree with the Dembele comparisons. His passing seems nothing more than functional as well.

I’m sure our scouts have done more in depth analysis than a couple of YouTube vids though so i’ll have to trust them on this.
He is on a different level in terms of technical ability. 7 assists and 1.3 key passes per game from defensive/central midfield is incredible. Not to mention that his dribbling is far better than Sissoko’s.

22 year old technically decent midfield machine. He’d be a potential regular for 8-10 years and allow us to transition so quickly, beating a high press and putting our more adventurous opponents on the back foot.
If we did lose Eriksen, I could see us in a 4231 with him, Sissy and Winks rotating in a CM2 and Dele just behind Kane

As others have said, this would be a real statement of intent, a sign the times are changing.

Not knocking his ability, but it does seem to look like he never truly has 100% control of the ball.

Again, not saying that is necessarily a bad thing as it’s obviously just his style. Similar to Dembele I guess.
But then, do any of us ever truly have 100% control of the ball? In one sense, yes. And in another sense, no. And in yet another sense, maybe.

It's one of those centuries-old questions that even Socrates couldn't answer.

Not sure why there's quite so much excitement about this. IMO Aulas will take the greatest pleasure in stringing Levy along while they wait for the mega clubs to show up.

Up to Levy to make a deal happen even with Aulas' games

I think he'll be able to tell if we mean serious business from the outset. Coming in with a realistic starting point, not a piss take derisory one.

According to Aulas himself, the mega clubs have already turned up. The likes of City, United, PSG etc. don't wait until the last minute to do their business.
