The golden rule that myself and my two sons adopt is never get into conversation in any shape or form with Londoners that support Liverpool or Man Unt as they all seem to say the same thing "my mum or my dad came from Liverpool or Man Unt "
Sad on our part because you should be able to support who you like without comeback from opposing fans.
Having said that there are 10 or so teams in London to choose from so we have decided that rightly or wrongly any one who is a Londoner thru and thru but supports Liverpool or Man Unt is a pothunter and has not got the strength of character to go thru years of relative failure with other London clubs apart from Arsenal who have had there time in the sun.
Are myself and my sons sad or are the Londoners that support Liverpool or Man Unt sad.
As a sidetone there are some Londoners that are so desperate to support a successful team that they talk about with Barca or Madrid or Bayern shirts now this does really make me so angry I could crush a grape.
I have started to see the odd Londoner with Man City shirts and that really is pot hunting.

Any tickets remaining following the above sales windows will be made available for Season Ticket Holders and Members to purchase for non-members as part of a Guest Sale window where they will be issued with an e-ticket via email that must be printed at home. Further details shall follow should we open a Guest Sale window.

So at this point we are waiting on the club to tell us when the guest sale window opens.

I personally think this entire thing should have been a general sale event, would've been a lot simpler.

I spoke with the disabled section today, they expect if "the guest sale" window opens it will more likely be Tuesday, 1 ticket per member, 1st come 1st serve

I agree with you but the game is developing massively to be very brand focused. In one of the industries I am very familiar with (eSports) they are only really still just beginning (even though it is the fastest growing market today) but it is all very brand heavy - one day you could see someone wearing a Fnac shirt, but after some poor tournaments etc. they could switch allegiance or follow a specific player to whatever team they go to. (Look at Paul PR Pogba!)

For me, I feel that Man City is a brand first and foremost. Trophies come, let's be honest, from the immense investment they have put in both on and off the pitch, without that they would not be the force that begun properly around 10 years ago. We are not as angry at Man City as when United had done this for a decade or so, but I feel that City are perhaps looked at with a pinch of salt and not seen as 'enemies' of football, almost like a FIFA playing mentality - everyone wants to be them and play with them on games etc. it's payers names, it's brand is now a massive Global entity. I find the 'plastic' era is more than here already, the ones you call pot hunters is accurate, it will happen more and more. All I do know is that majority of Tottenham Hotspur genetics is built on solid tradition and history since the late 1800's, sure there have been some new global arrivals especially with players like Son arriving it gives us more markets to play with as well as of course the fact he is an immense footballer which helps us on the pitch as well as of it! It was not just because of the double winning side my Dad saw when he was younger (He was a spurs fan before this anyway) but there is something about the club, the genes, the way we do things - not always easiest, but our fans are loyal and have been through a lot of terrible years to get to our latest level that we are all enjoying (and in my opinion we have done it the real proper way!).

To paraphrase your post in the Bale thread last week: If people actually read the thread they'd see the club have already announced this ;)

ahhhhh so there's going to be a West Ham plot akin to Hatton Garden with the whole of Romford buying £10 tickets to prevent Tottenham fans from going to watch the game. Clever.......very very clever. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Have a day off pal.

don't know how long you have been attending matches, but you do realise Spam fans wouldn't buy tickets to prevent Spurs fans going, they would love to cause trouble, in hope to cause an embarrassment to our club, like their club have, having had supporters in areas, but more to have a ruck. if you think hooligans still exist then you don't live in the real world

If it does go to guest sale does anyone fancy buying two guest tickets and I'll generously reimburse with interest?

Just gone in and can’t get guest tickets yet still a few tickets scattered around (looks around about a 1.5k - 2k)

Imagine they’ll probably open it up to ST guests from 10am Monday (OPINION ONLY NOT BASED ON ANYTHING)

Tuesday earliest and 1 ticket per person till sold out

Got mine as a basic OneHotspur level member last night and it didn't look like there were too many left. Maybe a couple of thousand.

I was in two minds about it being the best place to watch the game but can't wait now. Think it will be a night to remember.
