Dele needs to think about how much he wants to kick on to elite level. At times his technical understanding is genuinely woeful. I like him but he has to develop or he could move on next year without too much regret on our part
I’ve never seen a player who is so hyped up with such a bad first touch.

I'm surprised at how many say he's good technically, I think his technical ability is pretty poor. He's one of those players where if the ball comes to him for him to shoot you just don't think he'll strike the ball cleanly.

Would have been nice to have seen Lamela come on and try to knit some of the attacking play together to be honest.
Sometimes he plays like he’s wearing logs for boots

I don’t often criticise Poch but it was clearly the wrong decision to start Kane. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the line up. He’s a fantastic player but it always takes him a while to start firing after injury.

Yeah I appreciate that but let's be honest, champions league final, they were always going to make mistakes and be desperate if we applied any remote pressure on their goal but we didn't, we had 88 minutes to make that happen, can people really blame the referee as the reason we lost that game.
l don’t blame the ref. I think it was a soft pen but it did change the game. But yes we had 88 minutes to equalize

Acceptance of failure.
In reaching a champions league final we have over achieved.

I assume we can all agree on that because not one person I know thought we would get here....not one.

You can not describe overachieving as “failure”, or are you saying yes we overachieved surpassing all reasonable expectations but not by enough, because that’s equally ridiculous

He started scoring immediately after his last injury...

Yeah of course it changes the game but the responsibility is on us to get it back, I just don't like the victim mentality of saying the pen cost us the game when we had plenty of time to sort that out.

Within four years, liverfool see us as the model, work on it and spend on it, and now became and achieved what we have always wanted.

To put it in an even worse perspective, without this CL final, we are probably hovering around the same spot..

Really does. Ironically his boots actually look rather large on his feet too.

Even the chance that fell to him where he tried to loft it over Allison, he was the last player I wanted the ball to fall to in all honesty, I just knew his attempt would lack any conviction.

That was a pen, but referee made a couple of annoying mistakes in their favor. Son's 'offside', ball's out of play for a corner right before the half-time whiste, Son's 'handball'. He also could've given Allison a yellow card for time-wasting (though he wasn't going full Foster).

We start Kane and lose and poch is criticised for playing Kane.

We dont start with kane and lose and poch is criticised for not starting Kane.

Too many people here think they know better, honestly, shut the fuck up, there's a reason why you're not a football manager and poch is.

He was pointing for someone to position them self. Just unfortunate, get over it

Haha. Glad you said that. I’m over it now. Everything is rosey again
Come on next season

Like I said. The Kane thing frustrates me more. The pen was disappointing and robbed all sense of joy with the occasion. Going down after a minute

Love to know why hand ball was given against Son when we were in behind.

If you're going to play advantage for offside why not for a dubious hand ball that wasn’t.

If Kane starts and breaks down that's one sub.

If he comes on and breaks down that's two subs.

If he is involved at all that's a factor in the calculations.

As soon as it was over I finished watching the last half of John Wick II. All that's mindless violence has put me in a better mood again.

Nah mate, I'm gutted, but Liverpool lost in the final last season and come again so why can't we?
cos we're owned by Shylock, an owner who sees the club as an investment (and he's perfectly entitled to) and doesn't give a flying bird poo about glory or winning or backing the best manager the club has had in half a century
