As good as he can be I don't think his heart is in it anymore. Time for a new challenge and time for us to replace him and freshen things up.

Seems pretty clear that’s not going to happen. I’ve already resigned myself to us selling him to Utd. Sickening state of affairs really, in some ways worse than Carrick/Berbatov as at least then they weren’t our rivals.

We'll see, I don't see Yanited as a step up and I doubt he will either, especially if Pogba goes. It could be money that motivates him but until he's wearing a redshirt...I think his heart was set on RM and they have chosen Pogba over him as their number 1 target. I don't think Utd will sell this summer

If he goes to Man U then its just about the money, and he been saying about wanting to take a step up is bollocks.

I dont think it is. I think he was all up for leaving and going to either Barca or RM but that didnt materialise... it meant, I am assuming, relationships affected and his head. So needs a fresh challenge.
They will offer him 250k a week which isnt far off what we may have offered him.

Still sucks selling him to Utd, but if we can pull off a couple of the big names we are in for then I'll be a lot more comfortable about it.
