It’s both, isn’t it?

An obligation if we qualify for Europe, and an option if we don’t.

So if we qualify for Europe
and he's injured
for a lengthy period
or doesn't play well,
or doesn't fit the system
or is a disruptive influence
or falls out with Poch
or or whatever
we still have to buy him.

So its not an option in the true sense
but an obligation with strings.

Just clarifying for the Professor of Linguistics next door.

It's an obligation if we qualify for Europe. Hardly a reason to bring in hermeneutics.

Pretty sure we would have done our homework on him and knew these answers before.

I find it so alarming how our support (generally) never seem happy

Not just our support, it's the thing nowadays and we are seeing more of it because of social media, people just love to moan because they have twisted narratives they believe, most of it is agenda driven tripe.

This isn’t the first time or last we look silly attempting deals not possible. Utd couldn’t do it and they are a financial monster .

Anytime we try such stupidity in future we should call it the Dybala

The joke of it all we all knew this wasn’t going to happen

ITK?

The other thing that seems to be lost in the deal is that Betis has to pay part of a transfer fee to PSG, I suspect a loan fee doesn’t count, so paying a high loan fee reduces the transfer fee and therefore Betis get more money from the deal in the long run. I’m sure this allowed us to save some money on the transfer too, a rather shrewd move.

Not a huge problem guys, I mean we do have a great striker already.
I know the cry is going to be: 'What if Harry get's injured?'
Well I guess, that's just too f*****g bad, some you win, some you lose.
................Fair transfer window Daniel.
