What a difference! He clapped stray balls, he didn't bitch at anybody, he focused on his game and it paid dividends - No sulking, no moaning, no frustration, just playing for the team. And lifting that trophy and that grin on his face, showed how much it meant to him :D. COYS!

Thought he worked so hard when Keano limped off. And yes, not a sulky spell in sight. Probably one of his more 'languid' performances up to then, which slightly disappointed me. But he put that approach to good use for the penalty. Astounding calm! Against the second best keeper in the world. Why can't english players make penalty's seem that easy?

Berbs was quality today. Ramos really seems to have got him working for the team.

Please stay Dimi

He might have scored a hat trick against one of the best defences in the world which indicates once again his enormous potential. Let's hope he is going to demonstrate it in the UEFA Cup final.

Berbs is here for good. Him and Keane have something special.

very true. did you see the hug at the end of the game - they held each other for a good 5 seconds, it was very romantic

I'd love a photo of that, saw it on the telly and Robbie was kinda saying, 'see', this is what it can be like here'. Loved it.

Loved the way Keane came on afterwards to find Berbs. they are a special unit for us, and both no doubt, and clearly share a bond. Defoe who?

Surely that should be Jermain who? To which the answer would be Defoe?

I don't like to mention it but i will. Half of this community wanted us to sell Keane 18 months ago. Tossers!

Berby played his part today, as did most of the team. He will, no doubt, realise that his future will be much brighter at WHL than at OT or wherever. CL football can be expected in 18 months, judging by todays display (or since the dawn of the Ramos era) we are heading into the Top 2 or 3. All that we are missing is a Ramos type manager....oooops....we have him already!
So we have managed to win our FIRST bit of Silverware (or silver WEAR in Premiership player speak lol). The Uefa can now take 'pride of place' on our 'want to do' list.....COYS!

Today wasn't about Berbatov the technically supreme footballer but about Berbatov the worker.

And that it was it takes to truly become the best. The ability to score 4 against a bottom three side means nothing compared to the willingness to compete for every ball against one of the best sides in the world so that you may earn the right to display your ability.
