As far as I know, he has never disrespected the shirt, the fans, his teammates, coaching staff, or club staff.

Someone above mentioned Dawson, and I think that’s an apt comparison - Dawson left the summer Poch came in when it was obvious he was not going to fit Poch’s style. Dier has reached that same point - it’s time to go, but in my mind he’ll always be welcome back.

Best of luck to him. Never gave less than 100% regardless what that meant. Hope he smashes it out there, great move to find his love for the game again

Good luck Eric.
Was integral part in the middle of the park as part of the best spurs side I’ve ever seen under poch. Unlucky not to be leaving without some silverware for us.

His last few seasons shouldn’t be what he is remembered for here. He was/is fully COYS

Chuffed for our Eric. He’s been outstanding for spurs in the whole. Genuinely hope he makes an impact in Harry’s team.

Odd transfer really considering he's not starting in his position ahead of 2nd choice fullbacks.

That said I could see him finding his form again kind of like Trippier did at Atletico

As it stands, Bayern are well stocked with centre backs nd players who can deputise at CB. Last season Fulham fended off Bayern interest in Palinio (sic) who is a top notch DM. At that point Dier was allegedly also on their shortlist as a versatile defender / DM.
It could be that Eric’s versatility including Right Back where he made his Spurs debut, atracts the Bundesliga club to acquire his abilities.
Maybe the want someone to cut Harry’s food and make airplane noises.

Really hoping the move materialises for him, he's been a top servant to the club. He needs to be playing more football.

The lad isn’t shit and would improve most PL teams and therefore would be a good choice for BM.

He’s often made the scapegoat on social media because of the way we play isn’t the best for him and he’s been here for so long that people stop appreciating him and take for granted the loyalty he showed at his peak. He quite easily could have kicked up a fuss and demanded a move to Utd when they were interested and we were paying peanuts.

Great servant, intelligent bloke and down to earth. Wish him well.
