he always wanted Tottenham a man of his word it seems. Fabio massively should get the credit here with his presentation to Radu about his journey at Spurs. the agent saw the money at Bayern and almost cried which is his job at the ne of the day the player on the other hand saw himself at the lane and not the allianz.
Which is why it’s a credit to Daniel Levy for keeping Fabio on as a consultant, despite everything he has going on.

We went to bat for Fabio, and he has done the same and shown loyalty to us. Some things you can’t buy.

Sounds like he will be this passionate about the club to anybody else he talks to, to sign for us.

There have been some question marks raised around Dragusin's passing ability. I found this tweet and research very interesting, comparing Romero (when he was at Genoa) to Dragusin:

Very misleading considering it also includes numbers from Serie B for Dragusin

Good stuff...shame we didn't buy him in the summer then eh
He was on loan at Genoa last season as well, and the fee was just the buyout clause if he met certain criteria that he'd already met in January that season. So it's slightly inaccurate to say he only signed for them in the summer.

I knew there was something that reminded me of when we signed Romero.

I had a vague memory that when we signed Romero there were some question marks over his passing ability from some analysts and Serie A watchers. I just went back and looked at his passing data from the 20/21 Serie A season and his passing stats were indeed poor to average. His progressive passing stats were very low.

I remember being surprised at just how good he was on the ball when he started playing for us.

Take a look for yourself here and go to the 20/21 season:

I reckon we have identified that Dragusin has untapped passing potential much like Romero when we signed him and so believe that he could well be good at playing out from the back for us.

Yeah, when you’re playing a low block and just hoofing it away from goal, your stats aren’t going to look that great.

Interesting that Dragusin has said himself he is inspired by Virgil Van Dijk

"While at Juventus, Dragusin spoke to the club’s in-house television channel about defenders who inspired him. He namechecked Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, both understandable choices that carried a whiff of contractual obligation, given they are Juve legends.

However, he also mentioned how Liverpool hero Virgil van Dijk had “inspired” him. Dragusin’s relish for aerial battles and one vs. one duels means his admiration for Van Dijk is not hard to imagine. "

If he comes in and really earns himself a spot in the starting eleven, could we probably think about moving Romero to CDM? Imagine Van de Ven and Dragusin towering at the back shielded by Romero.
