I just want to take a moment to really appreciate how much our club has transformed in 6 months. From the coaching side, to the structure of the footballing side at the club and obviously the improvement in style and overall performances. All of that is huge, and it is pretty shocking how it all seemingly is coming together at the rate it is. We still have a long way to go, but this was the surgery the club needed. And honestly, Levy deserves credit for this. Sure, it sounds like he's still meddling, and hopefully over time that's more and more rare. But, we've seen how it can be beneficial in certain scenarios (Porro and now apparently with Dragusin). But, he's making changes. Significant ones, and while some will point to this should have happened long ago, I'm just taking the view that I'm glad it's happening, at all.

That being said, looking at the squad, with Dragusin and Werner, we are looking really sound at a lot of positions. There is most definitely work to do, but even seeing the club being willing to throw in Spence for an option of only 10m is a sign of growth, in a way. Hopefully that continues to be the trend as we look forward and try and right the wrongs of years past. It really is feeling like a fresh start, top to bottom, inside and out. And we have been pining for so long for this, and it's really awesome to see it starting to actually happen.

I know this post is kind of off-topic for the Dragusin thread, but it feels like Dragusin could be a sliding doors moment. He's a 21-year old defender, lots of potential, and he chose Tottenham over Bayern. It feels significant, it fosters belief in what Ange is doing and where we are going as a club.
Amen Snarf. Top post👏

Yes , he is like Mr Bridger in "The Italian Job" as long as Levy doesn't blow the doors off we will be fine.
The way we play the Italiano market is amazing.
The players we have got recently for the prices we have got them…forget the prices vdv romero vicario could play for city or pool let alone Man Utd overpaying for average. Same could be said for Lolo, Kulu and of course Udoggie.

while not cheap, we’ve had some big hits from that league.
Fair play to don P. Imagine if we do the same in other leagues

I've said it before but it's a great market to be shopping in. The big Italian clubs that would usually snap these players up, can't compete financially right now. Also helps that we have the number one guy for finding and facilitating the moves for these players as far as Italy is concerned.

Similar to Kane’s attitude with regards to improving his skills it sounds like.
Ange has it right.
The skillset between Dragusin and Todibo isn't that much but the character and mindset of Dragusin (along with the fact he's younger) will more than make up for the difference.

I said to my son a week or so ago that I had a feeling that this would be our boy.
Then we both held each other as the tears streamed down our faces. 😁

You’re too old to cry over a football player mate.

I’ll let your son off though (assuming he is the obligatory 11 years old).

Tell him to man up.

He shouldn't be crying at 11...
