nothings changed on this FWIW . Skipp or hoijberg would ideally need to vacate . Pierre is fussy and the clubs he wants won’t pay the money we want and palace might give us the money for skipp to Facilitate Gallagher but a lot would have to happen right now it’s unlikely .

Don’t want us to spend £40m + on this guy. Don’t think he’s all that personally, plus it seems like he’s been forced out due to their FFP issues, rather than even really wanting to come.

Would rather we put funds like that towards a forward.

I wonder if PEH even leaves in the summer. Be interesting if a club he want’s actually comes in for him. Could imagine some will probably tell him to wait until he’s available for free. Ether way I’m not particularly fussed about Gallagher so not really concerned if we move for him or not.

1 . Chelsea have to stop flirting with the idea and sell him or not
2. They would have to sell to spurs
3. We would need to make room meaning finding a club for someone to go
4. The departing player has to be satisfied with there departure

it’s like a chain for buying a house or selling one it’s a fuxkig nightmare and with 3 days of the window left not practical. A lot of work has gone into Gallagher from summer dealings but it’s still a tough ask for the club to do it unless the remove the departure of a midfielder out the equation . But with just under half the season to go you would have

1 madders
2 Lo celso
3 skipp
4 sarr
5 Ben 10
6 bissouma
7 hoijberg
8 Gallagher

competing for 3 positions that’s 5 midfielders on the bench or left out . It’s not sensible .

Will be gettable in the summer for sure 15-20 mill. Club won’t let him go for free in 18 months no chance

I might be wrong, but PEH doesn't strike me as a player that would go to the Saudi league, money talks and all that, but he genuinely seems like a real professional that just wants to play football at a good level every week. Nothing more nothing less. I'd be happy if he stays as 90% of the time he puts in good performances whether it's off the bench or as a back up starter.

Only doable if we can shift PEH. Thats what he's basically saying. We can't outlay £30m+ on Gallagher without selling PEH. It's not good business to have 8 midfielders in a squad that plays 3.

I'm assuming that the early return of Pape Sarr from the ACN after yesterday's shoot-out defeat will take some of the pressure off Spurs to add to their midfield numbers?
