Funny thing is he's one of those players other fans don't like as well. They obviously don't see what he is like outside football. They just see him as a player who rolls around and has banter with opponents online. Even Son actually seems to get hateful comments from other fans yet he's another genuinely top class guy. We have such a great group together now who are leaving an impression on peoples lives that will be eternal.

In the last game the crowd got on his back after the one on one and him struggling to get a shot away

Unfortunately you could see from that point his confidence was gone and he wasn't making the runs as much and played with his head down. Did well in the build up to the final goal but hopefully he comes back to his normal self against Wolves

I’ve got a feeling he will although think I’ll take him out my FPL team soon now sonny it back, his minutes will go down with Johnson & Werner/Kulu off the bench

Think too much is made both positive and negative of goals. As been said, It’s the all round game and link play that really let’s him down. Really affects how the team build attacks. I like him as a squad option and he’s good at attacking crosses but don’t really see him as the long term solution

Outside of Kulu's goal, the whole starting front 3 weren't good today. But Richy's link up play which is generally not great, today was bloody awful.
The link up play and ability to move the ball accurately and quickly in games like this when teams play so compact is so important. And today it broke down almost every time it seemed he touched it.
Get the ball out wide quick, and whip it in early seems to be when he's most effective. None of that today in fairness, and the way the game played out never suited him.

So weird he scored 2 against Everton and was in good form then all of a sudden looks short on confidence again

Appreciate his run of form it’s been vital for us but in the long run I don’t think he’s a starter for the level we want to be

I will refer to this, the crowd has been on his back and its back to square one

It's so predictable that he has one bad game and this thread is full of people on his back. He didn't play well but the guy has basically kept the season alive while Son was away.

You don't see this level of criticism for someone like Kulu, I cannot remember the last good game he had.

Once Richy was substituted did our attacking play of the front players improve, I would say no. We still had no idea how of how to break Wolves down and no physical presence in the centre.
