I don’t think for a second that any of our players would be unprofessional enough to take that kind of bait.
That little turd gurgler will barely register for the players. They will be laser focused on trying to win.

But should Ange choose to “accidentally” clothesline Matty as he runs down the touchline that’s fair dinkum.

Was the challenge by Matty Cash that bad? It wasn't a great tackle but it wasn't a leg breaker or anything like that.

It was cynical to the highest degree, no attempt for the ball from behind and he knew full well the ACL injury he came back from. It should have been a red card.

If I was in Ange's shoes I'd be right in the Refs ear before kickoff about how they put Bentancur out for months and generally tried to kick us off the pitch. Not sure it's Ange's style to whinge though but you can bet other managers would be doing exactly this.

Yeah - Klopp or Pep would mention something in their presser about how they hope their squad makes it through uninjured - unlike the last game!

With the pace we have upfront with Werner, Son and when he comes on Johnson, we have really not seen many balls played through the defence in the stacking third for them to get in behind. Bentancur being off the pace and Emerson having some limitations means it’s all on Maddison.

For me, If the situation was the other way around, I doubt many on here would hold the same view.

In law there's a difference between manslaughter and murder. Intent.

Bents was running the game the **** Cash felt he had to stop him.

Villa won, so Cash violence a success.

That Villa-level Bents has yet to return. The ****'s stain is still with us.

That's just the nature of looking out for your own though. If one of our players went in high on the leg from behind on a player back from ACL I would be critical. But then you just continue to support your player after. It doesn't stop from hating opponents who do it to one of our players though. The issue is they can afford to just carry on because it's not their player who was impacted by it.

That was a very dangerous tackle - from behind, at the knees, and the player left his feet. Had a Spurs player done the same, and been red carded - nobody here would be complaining about the card.

I think you should watch it back and look at the other players reactions rather than the tackle itself.

It is more from the side than from behind and he doesn't really leave his feet much. It wasn't a great tackle and got a deserved yellow but if a spurs player had been sent off for that, most people on here would be going mental.
