I stopped watching build up, half time and post match a long time ago. Really only switch on at kick off, off at half time and back for the second half. I'll occasionally listen to some analysis like Carra and Neville on MNF or the guys on MOTD. Other than that it's a no go as I know what Roy Keane and certain others will say.
I stopped watching the build up to games when it became pundits constantly trying to sell Harry Kane before every game no matter how well we were doing.

Haven't gone back to it since as its just how I've gotten used to watching games now.

Whereas in todays game it means Robbie Savage is sat with a coloring in book and crayons and describes the doodling he is making.
God Savage is a such a prat .........and his predictions for matches are absolutely terrible. I saw him out and about in a well known Manchester "celeb" hangout bar donkeys years ago mind you...... and the ladies were flocking around him all night though....clearly intelligence and good conversation isnt what they saught.......in a similar vein Dwight Yorke was also there the same night :( ....

100% this. I/most people of SC should know more than enough about our club to waste time on some half arsed pundit just spouting clichés and 'Sun' level football nonesense.

TV goes on as the players walk out

Did this thread go from opponents about us, to us about commentators? Surely more fitted for the what the pundits and media are saying about us thread, getting a bit of our own back on the archaic terms in their industry, that'll show em.

It's deliberate to have people with controversial views on punditry. They're not going to just have all smart people with sensible opinions. They want people talking and tuning in. It's just like with Talk sport. Hell even this thread is largely about how crazy some of the opinions are of opposition fans.

Had to chuckle at this from Friends of Fulham....

Oh dear what a mess I made of that )P, sorry.
My excuse is that it is so unusual for Fulham to have a fully fit squad that when they do you get carried away and the only way forward is to start thinking of duplicating your best players.
I am now thinking of this line up for Saturday.

Leno
Robinson Bassy Bassy Robinson
Palhinha Palhinha
Cairney

Willian Muniz Willian

Willian has been cloned!

This from Villa Talk, in response to the discussion about Ange being “the most over-hyped manager in the prem”:

“ . . there was a lot of hype early on, but it's because they were top of the league and won all their games. As they had a slump the hype largely disappeared, and hasn't really come back yet (although I'm sure there will be plenty of commentary on how he out-thought Emery today, which will be annoying, mostly because it's true)”
