Scarlett hits brace to round off prolific international break

Dane Scarlett took his March international break tally to five goals as he bagged a brace in England's Elite League squad's 3-1 win over Czechia on Tuesday.

Having hit a hat-trick in just 24 second-half minutes in Friday's 5-1 win over Poland, the forward added another two goals to his tally as England recorded their third win in a row in the European Elite League.

The lad was only 20 a few days ago. Some seem to have already written him off. He's been unlucky with his loans to Portsmouth and Ipswich as both were pushing for promotion. His next loan is so important for his growth. Someone like Millwall or QPR or a 12 month loan to a club in Holland. He needs regular football at a competitive level.

Found some highlights on YT, he doesn't come on until the second half. His first is a nice finish beating the keeper with power at the near post and his second is a well worked tap-in.

Looks like he's starting to fill his frame out a bit more which should help.
