Not trying to state the bleeding obvious but this game desperately needs a City goal to coax Arsenal out and see a bit more of an attacking contest.

I think just cos arsenal have the best defence in the league. They're like a lower table park the bus team in this game except they can actually defend. That and the assistance from the ref not booking them for cynical fouls breaking the play up

It's felt a lot like a World Cup match where the refs just allow tactical fouls left and right and it ends up hurting the product in the name of keeping 22 on the field.

Ironically in trying to "let the game flow" he's ended up creating the type of game no one in the audience wanted.

He's been surrounded all game and there is very little space in front of him or behind the defence, the others have to create an opening.
