It's probably due to the lack of quality elsewhere.
Had Brighton and Newcastle been better, United would be wrestling for that 6th spot and could finish as low as 9th, which is about right.
You have to look at their points tally and goals scored.
The max they can get is 70, but they'll probably end on 61 or so and 60 goals which is about right.
It's just that bracket of teams from 7th to 12th has not been able to really challenge.
I'd take 3 points but only If they're all against Arsenal!!

I know you said this very early on but the foul he made on 97 minutes right outside the box, which really is very very close to being a straight red IMO, sums up what he's become. He's had a shocker of a season.

Looking at Villa I think 9pts looks right with 11 being generous. Be an interesting finale of games for sure.
Honestly, Newcastle is looking huge right now

Right. Pretty much what I think. I was factoring in their European adventure and hold out hope it might make them drop a point or two they might not otherwise.
