I’m not sure how many games they’ll get ST holders to attend at Wembley in these first few games even if they’re free! As long as the lure of the new stadium is there I can only think the comparison to attending a game at Wembley will put a number of people off.
Any chance of...
I’m not basing it on one game. I’m basing it on his time in the Premier League as a manager. 43 matches, 82 goals conceded. (1.9)
Even comparing that with someone like Eddie Howe, who isnt’ exactly known for his defensive coaching (195 goals in 115 matches (1.7)) it doesn’t compare favourably.
He has still yet to do any convincing in the defensive side of the game. Yesterday was a perfect example. Conceding two to a newly promoted team.
Unless they score a lot of goals they are going to drop a lot of points.
It's good for Poch to protect Kane in public, but we've seen before Poch likes to play people in to form. The unfortunate thing here is that Kane looks out of sorts physically, not something I would put down to form... If we aren't going to trust our back-ups to play at home to a newly promoted...
Yeah draw value is great but you really need to look into the stats a bit and even then they can be hit and miss. I think with the overall low scoring history of Burnley and recent games at St Mary’s and Europa League on Thurs a low score draw is likely today... we shall see!
We’re more than capable. My only worry is Pogba against Dier and Sissoko. We need Dembele to play that game and put in a monster performance, then the rest will fall in to place. Without that from a Dembele, I think we’ll struggle.
Today i’ve gone for Pool to win, City to win and Saints v Burnley Draw. I hate betting on away wins but City are a bit of an exception.
I think the odds are stacked for those being the three outcomes today. Great value imo at 7/1.
Later, my eye is on Grêmio and Flamengo to win as a...
I think he’ll have a decent effect on the blend of their midfield, a bit like Fernandinho at City, and that will allow Pogba to do more up the field.
Whether that’s enough for them to then win the league is another question... 60m seems to be the going rate for what you need these days. When...
I thought Fred was good, but still a disjointed performance from Utd. From a defensive point of view Shaw still looked poor too. He needs to shape up on the tactical side of the game. You can still see Mourinho doesn't rate him.
