I’m all honesty I would rather play Llorente up front until Son gets back ( and even then maybe play both of them).
Unless we are thinking of selling Moura or Lamela in the summer and think we can negotiate a reasonable agreement to buy Malcom in the summer I really don’t see the point of this.
I think rather than look at the nationality of the players, a better yardstick is the league that they are playing in.
The Bundesliga is imo the closest in style to the PL out of all the major European leagues.
I still can’t shake the feeling that our haste to rush the job and employing the only construction managers who were prepared to work to our schedule has indirectly led to the situation we find ourselves in.

Dembele didn’t just wake up a few months ago and decide to leave. He’s said last season he can’t hack it anymore. And Wanyama got injured in pre season 2017 and hasn’t been able to come back longer than a few games since. Not a succession of random injuries, but recurring knee problems.

Rather than refuse any offers until the summer, RBL are willing to deal but at a premium to what it would cost in the summer and we’d have to move quick, maybe paying increase agents fees too etc.
