Haven't posted in awhile but just thinking to chip in after trawling through the posts in this thread and then going to a Celtic forum to check out the early posts from Celtic fans on Ange before he joined.
What stood out for me is how similar the initial feelings Celtic fans had about the...
Agree absolutely. When people start to determine that right and wrong actions are dictated by alignment with rules then that creates issues. Rules are meant to help people understand what actions or behaviors have consequences but whether an action or behavior is right or wrong transcends that...
Honestly do not think it is worth placing any expectations on Kane's return. History has shown that Kane tends to return early but always take a few matches to get back to any semblance of form which will already be end of season.
Best to plan for the rest of season without him and I hope Mou...
From what I have read, he is getting in ahead of Lo Celso due to his better understanding of movements and runs by our forward players especially Son, Alli and Kane as they have been playing together for years. He represents a more reliable option to get a result for our manager at present but...
The problem with using eyes only is that people only choose to see what they want to see rather than the full picture. Son isn't the perfect footballer but no one is. However, few Spurs fans fail to see that he's definitely one of our top players who contributed to our attacking play...
This thread is about Poch so just want to say thanks for all his efforts and truly wishing him the best for his next role. We will not be where we are without him so I am grateful for that and sad about how it ended. The only way for all of us is to move forward after our breakup like any other...
Don't agree that his recent performances is a norm for him. He was frequently the instigator of our attacks at the start of Poch reign and this performance is probably him to reverting to type as he has always had the ability to pick a pass. Unfortunately, his contract situation plus injuries...
I think when he's not given the playmaking and last midfielder responsibilities, he and we play much better. He's not a playmaker and not positionally astute enough to play that role. Gave him a hard time last week too but he looks much better playing beside Sissoko and Eriksen.
Toothless match. No one making the runs and no one able to make any proper passes. Defence in a mess and those cute diagonals just keep getting through Sanchez for Joelinton. We need some changes. I knew what Poch was trying to do when he started but I am not sure if he knows what he is doing...
Think people need to give him time to get going. His incessant press in the final third is critical to our play as can be seen from third goal and his quality will come as he plays more. Played Kane in during 1st half and only player other than Ndombele able to any sort of incisive pass in rye...
Agree with this. Making all play go through Winks slowed our game down tremendously and showed a key difference between playmaking from him and Eriksen.
What I like most about Eriksen is that he facilitates play tremendously well and the game flows with him while for Winks, he tried to dictate...
