Does anyone know which blocks the away fans are in tonight? Are they east stand still. Trying to work out if I am opposite or next to them. It’s important.
I think people need to accept that poch simply doesn't want a Kane mk-2. We have our striker back ups in son chadli and njie when fit. He's obviously happy with that and if a good young prospect comes up we'll go for it. No way md2 gets in our side ahead of those others so he isn't going to...
Does anyone else think this "mystery" CM if indeed there is one could be Alex Song.
As far as I know he's not signed anything at West Ham and I can't think of many other, realistic targets at this stage in the window. Underwhelming obviously
I don't agree with all of the negative comments on him. Ok he's not a world beater but we need a bit of depth, know- how, experience in this exciting, young squad. Particularly up front. Lambert won't play much but if we need to rest Harry for an away trip to Ukraine surely he could do a good...
Vorm - not yet fit apparently but when he is clearly a perfect second choice to Lloris who will play Europa games I'd imagine.
Davies - a bloody good left back who is only out of the team because the 'much maligned' rose has actually played well this season.
Fazio - who cares if you haven't...
Good window. Take the emotion out of it- good window.
We've strengthened in areas we were poor. We've sold players that were surplus to requirements. We've given the manager a more streamlined, versatile squad to coach. He's said to be happy with what he has and, if his two targets in MS and...
I know what you're saying but Siggy and Holtby must be good for about 5 goals a season between them.. We'll survive without that.
And for all Sandros experience he was rightly 4th choice.
It's not so bad
An attempt at a different view of this-----
In Dier and Fazio we have strengthened an area we were poor in and Dier has shown good potential at RB.
In Yedlin we have a low risk investment that might turn in to something special. Worth the gamble.
Ben Davies is about as good a left back as we...
Right wing then.
Townsend and Chadli aren't as versatile. I'm not saying I'm his biggest fan but I'd certainly prefer him in the side to Townsend given the way we now play
He's certainly splitting opinion.
Have to say I'm in the pro camp.
He's not a world beater sure but he offers us options. Capable of leading the line in Ade style better than Kane and Soldado. He can hold the ball up well but also prepared to apply a bit more discipline from wide left. Thought...
First and foremost he is much much better on the ball than any of our deep lying midfielders. Probably a better passer than any of our existing CMs I'd say. We miss that ability to retain and recycle possession.
Sorry but I think it is naive to simply dismiss Kruegers comments. He has come out twice now and publically stated he is keeping MS. If Levy did that and then went back on it I'd genuinely fear for his safety never mind his job. Saints fans aren't going to forgive it either.
I think we need to...
As encouraging as this Musacchio chat is I think there is a real risk that United will be in for him as well.
Van Gaal likes 3 at the back and they've got Jones, Smalling, Evans and an injured Carrick as far as I can tell. Surely it's one area they'll chuck money at.
Hope I'm wrong though
Surely the point is that if saints let Lovren and Chambers go aswell as the others that have already gone they'll shut the shop and refuse to sell Schneiderlin to anyone. No?
Sorry but 20m plus for MSchneid? No chance- he isn't that much better than what we have in that area. While everyone has their favourites Sandro, Capoue, Bentaleb, Dembele and Paulinho is not a bad selection by any means. Add Carroll and Holtby to that too. Jesus they just need coaching to a...
