No 'Yid flags' for our Carling Cup tie

I realise now that I am living in the most English country left in the World.Forums like this provide a good insight in to life in todays "England" , what was previously the original England.I am grateful for that.Forever Spurs though, will never forget my early days in what used to be...

No 'Yid flags' for our Carling Cup tie

"dying out " exactly - Enoch was right as many of us knew - love following Spurs but oh so glad I don't live there anymore and my children did not grow up there.Good luck to the minority in 40 years.COYS !

Spurs & Man City, SKY 4 reaction?

Bindippers have ground to make up now and that will help us.We need another Palacios type player.Manure will be in serious trouble when Rooney gets injured, needs resting.

    Modric loves spurs!

Unfortunately it doesn't mean he will stay but I don't think we will get the berba from him.

No 'Yid flags' for our Carling Cup tie

Yes good old Enoch was dead right "give them a thousand quid and send them home"."Yiddo" is misplaced defiance.

No 'Yid flags' for our Carling Cup tie

Protestants have played for Celtic but they will never ever be a Protestant club. Spurs are not a Jewish club and never will be.

No 'Yid flags' for our Carling Cup tie

Older Spurs fans that I know and who have been living abroad for many years now do not like the Yid thing including me. It was never a Jewish club in my day. It simply had some Jewish supporters same as the Filth. Jews lived around the Library more than Tottenham. As I grew up, there seem...

    Gomes or Cudicini?

I think the players find Gomes scary. Not good.I think Gomes will have more difficulty getting back in this time. He let Liverpool back in which could so easily have derailed our great start and that won't be lost on harry if Cuddles does well and so far so good I reckon.

    What will become of Pav...

Its just the sort of competition for places an ambitious club needs. It is part reason for our strikers doing well at the moment and yes ... Pavvy will get chances sooner rather than later - carling cup and injuries will see to that.

    Gomes or Cudicini?

Definitely Cuddles for me.I prefer his composed conventional style - Gomes is scary.I feel sure the players are far more comfortable with Cuddles too. They know what they are getting compared to the scary Brazilian.

When will the doubters start having faith in Harry

The big thing for me is Harry's ability to bring a strong team of assistants/coaches/mentors. They have made a big difference with individual players, something I did not see under Jol, Ramos et all.

final week of the transfer window?

We need a gritty competent midfielder like Palacios.Going well, good time to add depth as we always did in the sixties and/or a new star.
