I thought Parker was much improved - bar the penalty. He looked sharper and dawdled far less. Dawson and Lloris gallant in defence. Bale was all right as well, I suppose.
Always a chance Smith could be re-loaned out. I thought Leeds were mentioned as being interested in this. Can we only recall loanees from lower league clubs in the January transfer window? If not, then surely we could have just recalled Smith if anything did happen to Walker.
I completely agree. But, then again, I thought he played well last night. When I came on here to read people writing off his future I could not believe it. He is only 18, but he got involved and was fairly quick with some of his play. He should have scored his header, but at least he was finding...
I hope you're wrong Journalist, as I'm sure many others do. But, you've certainly thrown some new names out there so will be really interesting to see what materialises. Thanks for passing on what you know.
I think that's the key point. And we already know from Harry that Levy has been working on the deal for Adebayor. So, should we believe the Journalist when almost everything and everyone contradicts it? I'm skeptical. Perhaps his source is feeding him the monkeys.
It will be Bentley on loan to Norwich I'm guessing - a story I saw last night on some website. I really doubt Bentley will be allowed out on loan again. His value will only diminish further.
I think that is an exceptional arrangement of saves - really impressed me actually. Some of the saves he made I think he 'had no right to save'. Reflexes look incredibly sharp still. As a free transfer, looks a very shrewd move to me.
Never mind, he may turn out to have a really strong period with us. So, let's get behind him as we should with every player, until (unless) he disappoints us
From the ever-reliable world of youtube videos, Lavezzi strikes me as a similar player to Suarez. I may well be wrong and am happy to be corrected - but he appears to have the tenacity and skills etc.
