    I think players like Lamela and Aurier live on the edge as far as physical fitness. They seem to focus a lot on extra fitness and gym work which has great advantages when fit but also creates more injuries. My opinion anyway.

    People need to watch the semi final again. It’s not just the goals he scored. Watching it again it is remarkable his running and pressing, for one reason or another he has a different determination and belief for Champions League shown in his performances and his comments about the tournament.

    He has only just started training with the others. There is no chance his fitness or match sharpness will be at his pre injury levels. I wish and hope I am wrong but I don’t think because others haven’t played a game for three weeks he will be up to the speed of them.

    How old is he? Hopefully he can stay at this level. His stamina is so good for someone with such muscle mass. Plus his power as well to burst forward and back and grappling with opponents. Very impressed

    I have always thought he lacks explosive speed that is more evident on larger pitches that are slower (longer thicker grass).     This does matter, not the same as a proper fixture or the specific score result but to get out played shows we need our first 11 then we’re a step down more than our close competitors. However this could also be a positive as what Poch needs to consider moving forward.

    Completely agree, the other players should of also tried to find him more. With Kanes specific skill set we needed to prioritise him in the attacking areas more. Like Ronaldo demands from his teams.
