Spot on. It just comes down to whether the squad are properly prepared, injuries, good selection and tactics, whether the players are in form/have their heads right and whether or not there is any underlying tension at the club that is likely to affect performances.
We know none of this yet so...
I'd go with a 4-4-1-1 with 2 DM's and a winger tucking in. Something like this:
Friedel
Walker - Daws - King - BAE
Bale - Parker - Hudd - Modric
Dos Santos
Adebayor
I don't think you are allowed to mention that as it wasn't ITK. In fact it is strange how we can't discuss actual transfers because there is only ITK (:bs:)on players we haven't signed. Strange that isn't it:wink:
The following is from Adebayors wikipedia page. Someones jumping the gun! Anyway, its also a bonus if he's retired from internationals.
Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor (born 26 February 1984) is a Togolese footballer who plays for Tottenham Hotspur as a striker. He played in the same position for the...
5th in the league behind Chelsea in 4th and in the CL final in a winner takes all match v ... you guessed it ... Chelsea. Beat them and steal their CL place for next season as well. That would be beautiful!
I've had a premonition we will beat Chelsea in the final. And why not? We've played well in the competition so far, WHL has been amazing for the home legs, we are known as a 'cup team' and the year ends in 1. We should also be getting players back to fitness for the run in this season.
It...
It is scary to see such a composed and assured display from a Spurs team. We looked like CL masters not first year novices. This clearly got to the Milan players especially Flamini and Gattuso (who should be drug tested). It also got to their fans. Check out their Forum the Red and Black...
It is worth noting that despite some people thinking we are struggling a bit more this year then last (usually the media hacks that haven't done any proper research - and who also say we have wobbles after CL games??) we are actually doing better this year than last despite continual injury...
We know the squad we have to work with. We know the two competitions that we need to compete in. We know our strengths and weaknesses and we know that if our current squad performs they are good enough to beat almost anyone. Lets stop with the negativity and give the rest of this season our...
Cross him off the list then - permanently. When you are offered tyhe chance to play for the mighty Spurs you do not pick and choose when you might fancy it. Enjoy the Europa league Mr Forlan.
