Rumours of Sanchez going to Turkey...
Madness if this happens and we don’t have a competent replacement. How can Ange support such a move? What happens if Romero or VDV is suspended or injured? Who comes in then? Incredible…
Sounds like another Levy special. Ange is going to have to shoehorn him in to play. Bench warmer. But of course Levy should be able to make a profit on him when the upcoming season closes and he’s sold on…
Hojbjerg. One of my favourite players for Spurs. A leader. The Ironman. The Energizer - keeps going and going and going. Seldom injured. Never gives up. So versatile. Captain material.
Hope he stays at Tottenham Hotspur for many years.
It looks like Tottenham Hotspur is closing in on the signing of David Raya.
I wonder how much consideration has been given to his height - compared to other top-flight goalies.
Raya. 183 cm
Lloris. 188 cm
Martinez. 195 cm
Alisson. 193 cm
de Gea. 192 cm
Pope. 191 cm
Ederson. 188 cm...
But Levy’s decision to fire Conte when he did and replace him with second-raters has (arguably) cost the Club millions in lost revenue because of lack of Europa or Champions League football next season. Crystal Palace replaced their coach late in the season - and what a difference that change...
What really burns me is the failure to bring in Traore. He could have been the game-changer for this team. If the Club was short of cash then why not sell Bergwijn and use that to get Traore?
Does Levy really want on-field success or is there another agenda lurking in the background?
I’m baffled.
With the recent ITK regarding Levy not sanctioning the Traore deal I wonder whether it might be because he just doesn’t think we can compete for the top four spots this season. Maybe he’s given up and would just rather keep the cash for other expenses.
And with Bergwijn I wonder whether he’s...
I thought that Mendes had a ‘special’ relationship with Wolves. Maybe he doesn’t have that much pull at Wolves. I may have got that totally wrong. What do you think?
I’d evaluate it as a cornerstone deal. And a deal that the player wants, an important agent (Mendes) supposedly wants, and our coach wants. Or so we’ve been told. We’ve also been told by Valencia Yid that the club is doing all it can to get into Champions League. It’s going to be very tough this...
If Mendes has been signed by Traore to handle his transfer this window and Traore fails to move then how good is Mendes really? This especially in view of what we’ve been given to understand is a special relationship between Nuno and Mendes. A double fail then. And, going for the triple...
Feels like Spurs are now slinking off with its tail between its legs. Transfer window started well but has now devolved into what Spurs’ fans have come to expect. There was supposed to be non-Kane money to be spent but where has that gone? Probably not on quality players such as Vlahovic but...
