The Daily ITK Discussion Thread RESERVOIR FLOGS 30 August 2016

Perhaps the intention would be to move Lamela inside to no.10 should that be the outcome? He quite often ends up around that area of the pitch with the ball anyway, and played there at River.

The Blue Dahlia is a nightclub... a disco. :sneaky:

    I was wrong about Poch

He absolutely does, and a very intelligent media tactic it is too. He knows the cynical 'make 'em, then break 'em' pattern of the English press and so he gives them very little to work with. If you publicly revel in your own achievements and allow expectations to be built up to feverish levels...

Dembele admits: It has taken a year to understand what the boss wants

Yep, wait 'til he sees what no winter break means with that approach. I think the Bundesliga teams had a month off last season. Sensible, for European Cup purposes and their international side, but none of that here.

DeAndre Yedlin wants Tottenham stay despite probable loan move

I don't see the need to rush with either player tbh, both are young and talented with plenty of time to improve. Wouldn't mind Yedlin having six months to a year playing regularly in England (ideally lower Prem) to help him find his feet though, might do him more use than sitting on our bench...

    Morgan Schneiderlin Signs For United

Yeah, it was the previous summer I believe, so we were essentially committed to selling to the next big club that came in from abroad the following year and unfortunately RM seemed to be the only serious contender. If it had been Real vs Barca interest the price would've rocketed accordingly.

    Morgan Schneiderlin Signs For United

I think the problem was probably that there wasn't another serious non-Premier League, big money competitor for us to play off against Real Madrid and ramp the price up at the time. They knew that we needed to sell and low-balled us accordingly.

How did this wum get a job ?

Correct, doesn't make it less than true. Anyone who reacts in a physical manner would obviously be considered fairly unintelligent. As previously stated, the guy's a first class troll but that sometimes comes with unfortunate consequences.

How did this wum get a job ?

I agree, but he's so good at his job that someone will almost certainly flatten him for it one day. Shame. :blackeye:

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - ENIC EARNING EDITION 14th November

I read that a lot of the top contracts in Russia are paid in Euros at the request of players and agents, so in that situation it's the clubs that are going to want to shift them rather than the individuals agitating to get out (unless of course they believe their club will go bust and their...

QPR keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder

He can play on the wing and has done a fair bit IIRC, but I'm sure I've read he's more of an attacking midfielder. Could probably swap around in a fluid three behind the striker.
