Worries me our lack of attacking options off the bench...we have a bench of defenders and Giovanni who is no leader of the line...Pekhart had to be an option esp with 7 subs!!
If Keane is leaving it is purely down to him asking to leave IMO. Ramos is not playing Football Manager here and selling 16 players in one morning..its just not possible in 'real life football'.
Luis Garcia is a Keane type player so we will have to wait and see on that one but Liverpool are...
Im sorry but people who have rated TT anything lower than a 8 know nothing about football...you have to earn the right to play and he earned us that right..its not all about goals and nice passing...without him tackling, closing and fighting the front players wouldnt have got the chance to break...
Seems like at the minute we play well and lose and play poorly and win(Apart from Chelsea game where we got what we deserved). I cant really work out in my head what i would prefer. We were brilliant at Arsenal the other week and didnt win...Shocking today and won 2-0...football is alot to do...
Ohh and while im at it O'Hara really needs to work on his right foot...keeps turning into trouble...his inabilility to use it makes him very predictable...he will get found out otherwise!!
Dont know about you guys but 5 minutes of Kaboul was enough for me to suggest that he hasnt got the mentality to be a top player...laughed the whole time he was one and misplaced a 2 yard pass to Lee....May sound knee jerk but he seems so talented but like Taarabt needs to think about the game...
Dont know why everyone is so surpised and spitting there dummy out about Defoe being sold...Looks like it to me he has said im gonna sit my contract out here and jump in the money train in the summer and end up playing for a bloody Champions League club...
Ramos has no choice but to offload...
Ramos job is to set a team up to create chances to win football matches so i dont see it as his fault that Keane misses an open goal...Berba stands on the ball from a yard out...JJ misses two simple one on one chances and Robbo throws one in...AGAIN!!! Sometimes the manager is blameless and i...
I have been delighted with Ramos who without stupid referee decisions goalkeeping errors and bad finishing would still be unbeaten as our manager IMO...maybe the Villa game aside where he got his marking wrong....Things will be better when we get some left foot balance and the players he wants...
I think its the last of Dawson(Like the guy but he has gone backwards..burnout maybe???) and Lee(Not a bad back up player we just need left foot balance) and Robinson will only last till the summer. If this was june you would see serious changes now but we cant as teams wont release top players...
For me Lennon should be an impact sub with 20 minutes to go..i think he has become predictable and easy to defend against...and when i brought him on i would behind the strikers...his wing play is poor...Bale produces a dangerous cross at the end of his work..Lennon sprints and hits the first...
I think the penalty on half time was a massive decision..it would have been 1-1 and there down to 10 men and in need of a total reshuffle..you should get what u deserve in football! I like the tempo of our passing under Ramos...its quick neat little triangles which means if and when it breaks...
I like the tactical changes he has made....
We defend higher up the pitch meaning less 25 yard pop shots at our goal which flew in 9 time out of 10..Ok Luke Young but you would tell him too shoot from there 99 times out of 100..Taken the pressure off Robbo.Do fear the lack of pace of Dawson in...
One thing i noticed different was under Jol there was only the strikers in the box when the ball was wide which showed a real lack of attacking intent. Under Ramos i noticed when the ball was in wide areas we had the front boys..the winger on the opposite side on the 6 yard box attacking back...
 How gullable am i!!! Just went to the offical site to read that for myself.
Tongue in cheek yes but the way LEvy is carrying on i wouldnt be suprised to see it up on there next week.
And caretaker manager is the perfect way to describe Jol right now. Feel so sorry for him he doesnt...
Im just happy to see us with a bit of respect flying around and to see us competing again. We dont like to think about it but we were a joke 2 years ago.
I wouldnt grumble about top 5 this season again. Like Leeds sometimes wanting too much too soon cant bit you in the butt. Same again and a...
Its a funny old game but i dont see Chelsea being intertested in JJ. City i can see for 10 million but only because Sven is shopping like he does with Nancy!!!
I would take 10 for JJ. He has done well for us but a Van der Vaart or a Mikkel Arteta would be a better player for us.
Sures it a kick in the pants if he goes but it makes you think just how far we have come as a club in such a short amount of time under Levy Jol Him and Commoli.
Gone are the days of people leaving us for 300,000 at the end of there contracts. We are definately amoungst the big boys.
Dont...
Its a massive decision about Kewell. A bit of luck with injuries and the guy showed at Liverpool in patches that he is more than good enough. Also heard a Aussie guy on the radio say he knows Kewell and he has finally had an operation that has fixed his niggling injury which he has had for the...
Not much has been made of Davids being left out. Jol has done it very quietly without any fuss. Playing the likes of Huddlestone and Murphy ahead of him. Alot of us thot he was undroppable but im glad to see MJ has seen sense and dropped him. He just kept giving the ball away. Great for the...
