    Spurs Youth Thread 23/24

He already has better upper body strength and power than Rodon. Rodon is tall but has a narrow body shape and slow feet that means he struggles against shorter powerful forwards. Vuskovic also looks very quick for his size.

Player Watch Player Watch: Oliver Skipp

Skipp is a good player, but not good enough for team challenging at the top and especially not for what postecoglu requires from his midfielders. He has limited technique but a good engine, reads the game excellently and follows instructions. He needs consistent minutes and to feel the rhythm...

    Player Watch - Japhet Tanganga

It's best for him to move on but there is a very good player there. Outstanding 1vs1 defender, great at defending his box with blocks etc. However, he struggles defending with space behind him and is limited on the ball. I'm pretty confident he will thrive in the right environment.

I don't think it's his views that people have a problem with. It's more the self-righteous, myopic and condescending tone.

Player Watch - Sergio Reguilón (Brentford)

Real main rivals are Barca, Atleti are a fairly distant second. It's not uncommon for players to play for both - Llorente, Morata, , Hermoso, Juanfran, Theo Hernandez have all done it in recent years.

    Player Watch - Japhet Tanganga

Yeah, great idea. We should sell him because he isn't as good as two of the very best right-backs in the world.

FORMER Manager Watch: Nuno Espírito Santo

Sick of this guy talking like that. He's happy to talk himself up in interviews and shout and point etc but shows no bravery or courage when the game it difficult and we need our midfielders to show for the ball.

    Harry Kane

The whole family were Arsenal fans growing up. This is 100% true. That's not to say their affinities haven't changed since.

    Player Watch: Marcus Edwards

No one thinks they know better than Poch. People are discussing & debating this just as they do with any other issue.

Would like to see that team too, but they've selected Marsh as an overage player so reckon they'll play him (and probably as captain too).

    Our Defending

Trippier and Davies are too slow to play the way we want to against good sides, and it's gonna be even worse on the big pitch at Wembley.

Pritchard's always been out of his depth at this level. Finished 2-0 to Arsenal.

Agree with this. I like Marsh but he can be so rash and often leaves the CBs exposed, Skipp is the more intelligent player.
