Ok guys and gals, While we all wait for Sunday, I thought I'd encourage you all to play a harmless little game. Here is your chance to swap one Spurs player for one player from another team, and give your reasons...
(This should be good. I think I know who everyone would choose to be rid of...
Just found this site and it's an absolute treasure trove of info and stats on Tottenham Hotspur which might be of interest to folks on here, so I thought I'd just leave this for you to explore at your leisure. Just cut and paste this link...
Somewhere there's a thread with Famous Spurs fans but I couldn't find it (maybe someone can help me out here...) but the newly appointed Captain of the European Ryder Cup team, Luke Donald, is a Spurs fan.

We're all excited about the current situation with players coming in, but which are the transfers out of the club down the years which have hurt us most (apart from the most obvious one with you-know-who joining you-know-who of course...)?
For me, Sheringham and then Berbatov going to United...
I just wanted to issue a heartfelt apology to anyone who might have been offended by one of my recent posts, which quite rightly, has now been deleted. I made a point in the Bastoni thread which was extremely ill-advised and I'm going to be much more careful about ever doing so again on here.
By my calculations, yesterday (16th December) marked my 60 year love-hate affair with Tottenham Hotspur.
It was 60 years ago yesterday my uncle Nat took me as a scatty 9 year old schoolkid off to the football, and introduced me to White Hart Lane to see the debut performance of one Jimmy...
Just want to let everyone know, next week 8/12 at 5.30pm on BT Sport 1...there's a film on the life of the great man, by the great man. I'm sure loads of us will tune in, it should be a fascinating 90 minutes.
I saw this shocking story and could hardly believe what I was reading. Does anyone remember the case of ice-skater Tonya Harding some years ago? This sounds horribly similar.

.
I know we've only had 7 or 8 games this season, but I wonder if anyone would like to nominate a team (not us) who could be a 'dark horse' and surprise a few people this season.
I'm going to take a massive punt on Brentford. Any others out there?
.
If you could make just one change to the rules of football, what would it be (yeah, the obvious one would be for Tottenham to always get a 4 goal start, but let's try and be serious...)
Personally, I'd like to see a law introduced which would prevent any substitutions after 90 minutes. I hate...
I understand the whole idea about football being played behind closed doors when it does eventually return, because of the fear of mass gatherings of fans in or around the stadiums, but can anyone tell me what they think is going to happen outside Anfield stadium, once Liverpool seal the title...
How about that? If there's nobody in the stadium, why not broadcast the games live at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon? The only reason they never do this is because they don't want to adversely affect the match day attendances, but if there is no attendance, what's to stop them doing that?
I wonder...
I just watched a wonderful video and I'd love for all of you guys to watch it and enjoy it as much as I did. Personal testimonies from Martin Jol (who was in the stadium that night) Darren Fletcher who did the match commentary for BT Sport, Jermain Jenas (who sat next next to him) and some other...
If this is true, I'd be absolutely flabbbergasted.
