    Tottenham Vs Stoke: Match Thread

Just read the last 10 pages of this. Seems like its all been said. Positionally some of our players are making unbelievably naive choices. Danny Rose plays like he has a free role and at any point expects to play a one two before rifling in a screamer. Mason and Capoue are so quick to vacate...

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - How to Make ITK Exciting - 24th June 2014

My guess - blue and yellow being yesterdays colours means paulinho and adebayor will go if they don't shape up after their summer leave. If they do, then we buy someone who plays in red (spain?) and someone who plays in black (no idea).

    TIM SHERWOOD APPOINTED HEAD COACH

We could never send him back to coach the kids at the end of the season after appointing someone else. It would never work, theres too many chefs at spurs as it is. Give him the job till the length of his current contract, if he does well, brilliant, if doesnt it hasnt cost anything. Its quite...

    TIM SHERWOOD APPOINTED HEAD COACH

I wonder if he got a pay rise or just a new job title. The length of his contract might have something to do with his current contract, as you can hardly shorten it and its not like he an go back to his old job now.

    TIM SHERWOOD APPOINTED HEAD COACH

Our new coaching set up is Freund, Ferdinand and Sherwood or FFS. Haha

    Team for Cardiff

He could move Eriksen to the wing and play three across the middle in Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele. We'd be very difficult to play through, but we'd lack a bit of width.

David Villa signs for Atletico Madrid

Can't see it being cheap enough to be sensible for us. If it is, brilliant, as he is a fantastic player and has the winning mentality / experience / matching winning ability we need in the squad.

    Sunderland Vs Tottenham: Match Thread

Bale was always going to get booked again at some point, so probs for the best he misses against Reading. Reputation wise its not good tho, people will forget soon enough it was a debatable pen and focus on the fact thats 4 (?) yellows for diving. Good performance, they look very well coached...

Huddlestone looked even slower today, at least we cant rush him back now. Haha

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - 29th August 2012

As exciting as signing, or in our case potentially signing, players is, are we not in danger of doing too much too soon now? If all this goes through we will have replaced 5/6 of our starting eleven in one summer.

AVB says a lot of good things doesnt he? I'm very impressed with his professionalism so far.

    Newcastle Vs Tottenham: Match Thread

On that performance were only 2 players away from having a quality team again this season. I thought the shape was good, just need a bit more goal threat. Bit of a shame we have throw away the first couple of games each year for levy to play his games, but he is who he is.

Emmanuel Adebayor (from rumour to DONE)

Doesn't this make you a little more optimistic that we will get someone? Last summer we had Crouch, Pav, Defoe and Keane for some of it, so you could kind of understand if we didnt get anyone. This season we have Defoe, who cant play upfront on his own. Therefore surely we have to get someone...

    Dimitar Berbatov

Dont know if this is entirely true. I think hes still a top class, albeit lazy player who needs the team setting up around him. I also think the clamour for Berbatov is out of desperation rather than pragmatism, personally. And, I don't think we're that desperate just yet.

    Dimitar Berbatov

Okay I'll never know this, and maybe its just the way the club spun it, but I never got the impression he took himself off a teamsheet like Berba did. Anyway, 2nd stints - any good ones?

    Dimitar Berbatov

Quality player I agree, but he flat out refused to play for us. I don't see how we can be seen to encourage that behavior by forgiving him. To get off my idealistic perch for second - have there been many second stints at a clubs go well? I cant think of any, but happy to be proved wrong.

The prospect of having your pay cut in half must be quite galling though. Hope he comes around, as we need him, but this is a big decision for him and it might take him a while to make it.
