Thanks WLB!! Why are we letting Sanchez talk to a club if we are seemingly not replacing him?? We would be even more screwed without our only cb backup who actually has any pace
The rate of updates from ITK this window have been unreal. Thank you for these updates WLB and all others🤝🤝. P.s- just to balance that out… you are also responsible for a horrendous lack of productivity most of our working days
I thought exactly the same re: Scarlett. Maybe him bulking up has been at the expense of his pace as his acceleration looked way slower than i expected last night.
as for Richy- i still have faith in him improving, but i have a feeling we may see Son starting up top before long (especially with...
Thank you Ange!! After a worrying first half hour, thats genuinely the most i have enjoyed watching Spurs play in YEARS. There will be bumps along the way but he is transforming the team before our eyes and we need to embrace and back this guy all the way
Wouldve been Redknapp. I wasn’t a fan of Jenas as a player but he was at the club for what, 7 years by that point? If true(heavily questionable) would be a terrible way to treat a player. Redknapp took Jenas to QPR with him so i doubt there was any issue between manager and player
No way! I used to watch Barrow too. I was a season ticket holder in the early 2000’s when Grant Holt was there. Spurs almost played Barrow in the FA cup in 2001 but Layton Orient sneaked past Barrow and then lost to Spurs the next round (Gary Doherty scored!)
Slim pickings sadly. Son is a great bloke and I wouldn't be too opposed but I always prefer when a centre half or centre mid is the captain and can influence the game more centrally (don’t get me started on having the keeper as captain😬). He is a nutter but I actually think captaincy may be a...
Apprecite all the info here. Great time to have no actual Director of football with all this going on ey… I hope Ange is getting a very big say in these incomings
The massive signing this window was Aurier. That has addressed the only glaring weakness in the starting 11 IMO. Better still, we kept all of our best players!! Overall a good window and many of our rivals had terrible windows. Liverpool have no centre halves, nobody wants to sign for Chelsea...
Thanks Herc. In defence of myself and other posters who are not so excited at Gray coming in, it isn't because we dont think he has potential, or could be a good long-term prospect, it's just that we are crying out for a more ambitious attacking option who can make a more immediate impact...
Unambitious is the right word here. I know Gray has potential but we need players who can, if necessary, step in against Real Madrid and Dortmund in the CL! Liverpool finish below us every year and are looking to sign Lemar, whereas we are going for a sub from Leicester?!
Well Hugo had no chance with that goal tbf... I dont disagree with much of that, but the point is that Trippier was CONSTANTLY out of position for the entire last 20 minutes or so- i was watching in disbelief at how easily they were getting down their left flank. Realy worrying that it wasnt...
So negligent by the club to leave it to the last minute (AGAIN!!!) to address a glaring hole in the team. Trippier is simply incapable of playing as a wing back. His positioning is schoolboy football standard. Literally 30yards too far forward, even in the 92nd minute!!
