    Their track record is comparable to most (i.e. mixed). They are not on the banned list anyway, so worth posting I thought. We do have a track record of repeatedly going back to the same targets window-after-window anyway.

    Definitely. Moutinho-Dembele-Sandro would be the strongest CM trio in the league. We would boss all-comers. Willian would be nice to have (though his lack of goals do concern me), but definitely a secondary priority.

    What has he got that Sigurdsson doesn't? Seriously, I'd consider them both to be of the same calibre/potential, except Siggy is maybe a bit more suited to the pace and power of the EPL.

    Not at all convinced. He's having a 'sophomore slump season' that makes Walker look on top of his game. Ajax also usually only sell one top player per 12 months, and Verts only left last window.

    Agree. And Dempsey is finding form and is a decent enough 3rd forward. Moutinho and Maher (cheaper, more available, and far better than Eriksen IMO) would be very nice indeed.

    If there's no transfer fee then it'll be a pre-contract for the summer. Bilbao are still going to demand c.£6-8m for him this window. Yeah, his wage demands are reportedly enormous - at least what Ade was on at City (i.e. about 3 times what our highest earners are on).

    Indeed. I get the impression him and Andre don't get on at all well (hence AVB pushing for a DoF to come in over his head). I suspect Sherwood will be next out the door. Andre's already had a pop about his lack of contacts/transfer experience meaning he wasn't a candidate for the DoF job...

    Sandro, Parker and Dembele is horribly lacking in creativity. It would just encourage a long ball game that would bypass midfield.

    But don't forget that Parker, like Gallas, was at Chelsea with AVB. There have been a number of times this season when we've been desperate for Parker to come off the bench for the last 20-25 minutes (usually when Livermore comes on). I don't really see him starting much the way Sandro has...
