I've just come to accept that we won't until the stadium is finished and slightly paid for. We won't sign mega expensive players so youth team and cheap prospects for us for a few years. I'm fine with this, it will stop me getting too excited on the transfer deadline day. Plus our youth set up...
I do sort of wonder if he would've had a Chadli type second season (who in his first season I thought was terrible) if he hadn't been part of a Brazil team that took such a spanking on home soil when the pressure was on them.
Does anyone else find HITC a click bait website filled with adverts that slow the web browser down (or stop you scrolling on an iPhone) and flaky articles that don't say anything?
I can never be bothered to read the forums - too much childish bickering and moaning so always read the front page. Sad day for me when I had to click on a link to really go so.
An extremely average player indicative of a poor England team. Does nothing well and no better than Townsend, Lennon, Chadli or even Pritchard. Would rather we used a youth team player like Coulibaly (is he even still here?) than wellbeck who is the Ruel Fox of the modern age.
Every under 18s report seems to feature Kane scoring, normally more than just one as well! Should we get excited? He is young granted an anything can happen but is he one to watch for the future.
That is an attacking bench isnt it. If we are overrun in midfield there is no ball winner to come on and give us a hand. Have we not picked O'hara to give him a chance of a loan to another premier league club? Does the no more than 2 clubs in a season FIFA rule apply to loan deals?
As previously said, 3 works brilliantly when you have a good prospect youth striker (Utd with Macheda/Wellbeck when the have Rooney/Berbatov/Owen). Obika is a possibility but not sure if he will ever get there or not. Kane is too young but does seem to be banging them in.
If Pav goes, I would...
Is it strange that I actually want to know what Spursking has to say about this? I would imagine that 'it is a player I have already recommended to Spurs' would be one of the phrases.
all in all, I was impressed. Bassong looked like a top notch buy to me based on one game watching him. Huddlestone and Palacios made me think would not be such a bad thing if Jenas leaves.
King is King, a complete legend who never ever lets us down but we all wish he could play more.
What on...
Thank you, you saved me the effort.
Bambi on ice was not even the best left back in the squad at the time. Even Eric Edman was better!
That quote made me laugh.
This whole story is yet another example of why I will not wear my spurs shirt for anything other than playing football. I don't even wear it to the pub.
Good thread.
Dilevski an interesting prospect, but it is people like Mark Gower, Ben Bowditch, Leight mills etc that we thought were going to be extremely good but got no where near the required level. Blondel was the one I thought would make it, but he was ruined by Hoddle's choice of system...
