    We've brought in a DoF to support our manager. Why do that and then buy nobody? The hiring of Baldini is a very clear indication that AVB will be supported (within reason of course) in the transfer market...... and that includes not selling the player he wants to build a team around

    Let's hope that's the case. Apparently we let one of the U21 goalies go out on loan so some people speculated or hoped the recall was to boost that team.

    I'd say Lennon is our toughest player to lose, followed by Bale. After that it's either Lloris or Dawson. Either way, would be a huge blow. Let's hope it's just one match if there's any truth at all here.

I do think that a comment I've frequently seen regarding Hudd - that his game is more suited to European matches - has been proven accurate in the past and certainly, we'll get an inkling as to whether AVB thinks this also.     Very few changes will be made. I have to think Dembele will either not be available due to bruising or swelling (havs anyone seen an update on his 'condition'?) or at the very least should rest his hip as he's clearly not 100%. Huddlestone is the obvious replacement. Not sure I'd rest either...

    I know it's early, but perhaps this way a few people who might not otherwise do so might consider watching the Arsenal match with NY Spurs at O'Casey's (41st between Madison and 5th). It's an 11am kick off and would be great to watch with as many Spurs fans as possible

    Both great players. I'd say age-for-age Bale is the better of the two. Which makes him the second best left winger I've seen for Spurs. The best was quite some way better. There's only one Welsh Wizard!
