Are you kindly posting a video to support my point? Or are you trying to make a counter argument?
I'm sorry; I find it difficult to understand the point being made by strangers posting video clips of game footage in reply to my posts...
Do try to be helpful and make a point.
Thanks
Enough of this 'eye gouging' crap!
He pushed Costa in the cheek, that's it.
Sky Goons call it 'eye gouging' and the FA feels it has to act......
Bullshit.
I disagree.
We showed steel and gave as good as we got, with the odd nibble, without ever getting dirty.
I'd rather see 11 men on the pitch showing some fight, than be the soft touch we used to be, or a bunch of dirty ****s like Stoke and Charlie Adam.
Pochettino has found the right balance...
While I sympathise with away fans who get bilked by some clubs just because they are the away supporters; I dont think its fair for away fans to pay less.
Let away supporters pay exactly the same as home supporters!
You cant get fairer than that. And if they still cant afford away tickets...
Some observations from the game:
Walker is one of the best right backs in the country. He had Hazard in his pocket for most of the game. We're lucky to have him.
As I predicted last season; Chadli could well turn out to be our new Bale. He out bullied, out thought and out ran Chelsea's back...
Bentaleb is an awesome midfielder in the making.
Kudos to Sherwood for sticking with him, and respect for finding a way to play him and Capoue in the same team
Rated this a winner as I cannot understand how some people can call themselves Spurs fans yet feel happy to argue passionately against fans wearing "Spurs-tinted" spectacles about a penalty and offside that at the very least could be characterised as 'marginal' decisions.
Where are their...
The fans at cat C games like Hull are always the 'prawn sandwich brigade' who expect entertainment and Spurs to stomp the 'weak' opposition; they dont realise they're supposed to support.
Given that; AVB needs to start playing 2 strikers when we're at home. and not in a 4-2-3-1, two up front.
As others have said: We'd probably have lost this game under Jol, and likely have drawn under Redknapp.
But we are now so dominant, so classy; watching us against teams is like watching Man Utd in the days of Beckham, Keane, Scholes etc; clearly a league above most if not all other teams...
No I wouldn't.
Arsenal 2nd, Spurs 3rd is fine.
Its not a question of they win the league so we can claim a CL spot. That's sophistry. Why would I want them to win the league so we can finish 2nd? 3rd or 4th is good enough for CL.
Never been anything but Spurs.
Celtic & Barca (though Bayern are growing on me) and I follow the fortunes of whatever local football league team I happen to be living near or have lived near at one time.
Season 97-98.
Allan Nielsen v Arsenal. (1-1)
Never forget it as it was my first visit to WHL and I went with a bus load of Gooners as my best mate is a Gooner and he got me a ticket.
Shouted my head off when Nielsen equalised then realised where I was and quickly ducked down.
Swore after...
This is utter luxury.
Being able to argue about which to players are best in 6 positions in our team.
Seriously cannot remember the last time as a Spurs fan I was able to do this. Don't think we ever have.
Re. the Dembele v Paulinho debate: I think most people instinctively recognise that...
Interesting you mention season 2005-2006, as I recall that as being the last time levy backed a manager with significant spend to overhaul our squad.
And as I also recall; he backed Jol that summer by spending big and he kept faith in him for 3 more seasons.
I would be surprised if Levy give...
