Price and a deadline -- that's what Dortmund did.

Player Watch - Steven Bergwijn signs for Ajax

IMO he's not fast enough to excel as a wide forward/wing in the Premier League. He's quickish, but that's it, and he doesn't have the guile to achieve by trickery what he can't achieve by raw pace. I don't hate him, but I just don't see this great reservoir of untapped potential that some...

hahahaha... Well, I'm confused. Who the fuck is Dave? And what's he up to with our transfers?

As Snarfalicious has pointed out in the player thread, Diallo's full name is Habibou Mouhamadou Diallo, so that'd fit with the custom of calling players with difficult names (for English speakers anyway) 'Dave'. That seems to be the ref by JJ.

This is something I've noticed too. Some lovely incisive passes the last few games. (Still like a proper DM, though. Peak Wanyama would be perfect, although if I'm being greedy, I'd like a DM who passes the ball a little better than he did.)

ABs have made lots of errors. Some unforced, but many forced. Well outplayed.

Conspiracy theories are silly. It's just an overly pedantic decision. NZ kicking the ball back to England too much. Understand that they don't want to be pinned inside their 22, but they're not taking much territory with their clearing kicks and they're unable to make inroads on English ball at...

Too much pessimism about England's chances against the ABs. For me, the ABs haven't been that impressive over the last 18 months by their standards (which, admittedly, are stratospheric). They were v good against Ireland, but Ireland were poor, and I'm not confident the ABs are gonna replicate...

Springbok defence is formidable, prob the best in the world. Reckon they also have the most brutish forward pack. They don't dazzle in attack like some teams, but I don't reckon they need to against Wales.

Will Genia was terrible for Wallabies, IMO. Every single time he clears the ball, he grabs the ball, straightens, then runs two or three paces before throwing the pass. Doing no favours at all to the backs. By the time the ball gets to them, the onrushing defence is on them. Compare it to the...

Owens should have been a red. Clear red. Honestly, given some of the yellow cards dished out in this comp, it's mindboggling that was only deemed a yellow.
