    Gomes 8 MOM by a mile. BAE 5 pretty average for me. Woodgate 6 Did OK. King 5 another worrying game. Corluka 6 I thought apart from the header he did OK. Jenas 5 average, hardly saw him. Huddlestone gets extra point for the goal. Palacios 5 needs to step up. In poor form at the moment. Keane 6...

    When you look around the PL there are not many, if any better keepers Than Gomes at this time. IMHO.

    None of the forwards exactly covered themselves in glory, and for me the midfield must take some of the blame. Very little in the way of vision once again.

    Too good to be our 4th striker, but that is what he is. I agree he will be off in January. Possibly on loan before before being sold. Shame but that's football. Wonder who we will replace him with.

    :duh: Lots of great players missing, which makes a mockery of poor old Steffan getiing in. He was ordinary at best. IMHO.

    Thomas Huddlestone - best position?

    That I am afraid is the crux of the matter. It's not Hudds best position, it's all about the opposition. He is a useful player to have around as has been shown this season, but against the really best he along with afew others we have will struggle.
