I’m all for playing like that regardless of the players available, but when there’s no time on the clock and you’ve got the ball, don’t give it away in the middle of the pitch for no reason.
This is where I disagree. It’s down to the dregs if you’re considering the same old, but I’d prefer the gamble (every decision is a gamble) on a guy who plays the exact type of football that the club was built on, as opposed to someone who you can easily name check becuase he managed in the PL...
Don’t know percentages, but he’s won trophies everywhere he’s been, both domestic and international. Australia’s only trophy was won under him, and Asia is an increasingly competitive environment and can’t be dismissed as irrelevant.
