    Ratings vs Everton

It's a shame Pritchard didn't get on the pitch earlier, but I was cautiously optimistic about this performance. We arguably should have won the last three games, but the fact that the performances are slowly improving plus the new recruits means that we should hopefully go on a winning run post...

    Striker/s for next year?

Any word on Arouna Koné? There was some paper talk that we are interested on signing him. I think he's out of contract.

    Come on Bayern Munich

My fear is that Bayern have been shaken up by the Dortmund game. Defensively they are vulnerable, particularly to quick counters. This isn't a mentally strong Bayern team. However, with Chelsea's key suspensions I think they'll still do us a favour.

    a wow signing?

I'd rather make some astute signings, strengthening areas we are weak in, upgrading on our current squad. Like we did with Adebayor and Parker, albeit get these signings completed before the season starts.

    John Bostock

Jake Livermore didn't pull up many trees when out on loan, but an improved Pre-Season and some stand-out performances got him into the first team squad. I don't think many saw that coming. It's up to Bostock really, how badly does he want it?

    England Squad for Euro 2012

Any leftfield picks? I'm wondering if the likes of Scott Sinclair, John Ruddy, Leon Osman could be in with a chance.

The Lack of Ekotto - is it all that bad?

I think Benny's form dipped mostly because there was is real competition for his place. He's a laid back character, maybe he just got complacent. Danny Rose at least now has a chance to enhance his prospects at the club in the remaining games, and hopefully turn up the pressure on BAE.

Spurs want Rodgers to replace Arry - Sun article

Rodgers has openly stated that he is still developing as a manager, therefore however ambitious he is, I hardly think he will risk jumping over to a bigger club just yet. Both him, and Paul Lambert at Norwich should only be judged after their second seasons in the Premier League, though I rate...

    Time to drop Parker.

I think Parker needs to be managed carefully, rested when we can. He's a high octane, guts and glory player and those players need to work at their optimimum fitness levels, not carrying knocks. Sandro can't really be judged until he gets through a good injury free pre-season. He's just not...

Freidel.... does the problem partly lie with him?

I think you've got to factor in the recent injury disruption in front of him. The injuries varying in severity to Dawson, King, Gallas and Kaboul over the last few games, coupled with poor defending at set pieces, which again might stem from key team changes. Friedel and Cudicini in the cups...

    Everton Vs Tottenham: Match Thread

I was having a discussion yesterday with another Spurs fan and we both agreed that Harry's biggest weakness has been squad rotation in the second half of the season. We seem to have too many players that are now either mentally or physically fatigued, and fringe players out of form because they...

    World Heavyweight Boxing

These things come in cycles, weight divisions go through glory days and barren periods. The trouble for the Klits is either their challengers are undersized (Adamek and Haye), underskilled, or have no right being in the same ring. There are fighters coming through, but most are at least two...

    Paolo Di Canio anyone?

Regardless of Di Canio's political views, he's too green as a manager. The likes of Lambert and Rodgers are better placed to be long term heirs to Redknapp, I wouldn't even be opposed to Chris Houghton.

    Huddlestone

Even if he gets back to full fitness (fingers crossed that he will) I can't see him pushing into contention for a place in the First Team Squad next season, he'd likely end up in Jenas' position. Therefore, we should loan him out somewhere, initially until January, just so he can build up...

Romelu Lukaku signs for Chelsea (£20mill) Bargain!

Lukaku is playing for a Club with all kinds of on-field and off-field issues, under a manager under so much pressure that he's unlikely to throw a rookie Premier League player into his starting XI. He's had no chance to answer the question of whether or not he is worth the hype bestowed upon...

Cricket : England v Pakistan in Dubai

KP, Bell and Morgan are all strokemakers. I think you ideally need another stodgy, stubborn slow scoring accumalator in the middle order when you play on the sub-continent. This is a the one time when England miss Paul Collingwood.

    Happy with our youth development?

Finally there seems to be a process in place, and there is clear evidence that the Academy is beginning to become fruitful for the club. You can chart development progress through First Team experience gained from spells out on loan and / or apperances in Cup Games. Jake Livermore has become a...

    The Race For 4th 3.0

I still look at the table and think - one more win and we'll break the magic 40 point mark, we're safe from relegation! I guess that comes from enduring the nineties as a Spurs fan.

Luka expects to be at Spurs till the summer

Regarding Luka moving on in the summer, I feel that even if we qualify for the Champions League, or dare I say a miracle happens and we win the League, he will still go. I have a feeling that one of the reasons he stayed this season was because a deal was struck by Levy/Harry, kinda like what...

    Team v Swansea

Ledley in for Gallas, or Kaboul if he's still carrying a hamstring problem. Aside from that, pretty much the same team from the Norwich game. Swansea keep the ball well, so I think we must aim to counter attack, and be quite patient in our approach.
