    It's pretty clear with the players we bought in the summer, he's not in AVB's future plans. There's even a possibility he'll be flogged in January with the Liverpool rumours persisting. On average Gylfi is not good enough for this club.

    According to a well known sports journalist here in Iceland who claims to be in the know (he has been wrong on many occasions though), Liverpool have been in touch about a possible loan move for Gylfi in January and that Gylfi knows this.

    As an Icelander I can absolutely confirm that the supposed account of Gylfis dad is a fake. When he writes in Icelandic its something from Google translate. The guy isnt even Icelandic. However its true that Gylfi has agreed to join and will be announced soon.

    What I was saying, rather than having one player who ends attacks with shots and occasional goals (10-15) I would rather have more players to end them and thus maybe score more goals.

    I think this thread is a waste of time. I dont think there is any chance we will sign this guy as we dont need him. I am an Icelander but I dont think he is a player to suit us. Ok he would probably guarantee us 10-15 goals from midfield a season but he would take off space from other players...
