    If we miss europe this season, play next season with no european "distraction" and somehow qualify for the champs league, wouldn't we then have to deal with the "distraction" issue all the same? The more games we play the better, financially, statistically and status. having a squad not good...

    But seriously, we do this all the time. It's either the defence being brilliant, or the strikers are. We never seem to actually get both actually, except for lately and even then we usually win by the odd goal.
