He was sacked from Chelsea and that is a fact that we know of because of the court case that followed. Inter was due to their financial situation and cost cutting proposals.
That's a fair shout and IMO the crux of his departure lies in what you have posted. Maybe he was promised things he didn't get and just 'rage quit' / refused to sign a new contract, maybe he wanted to stay but after the Southampton outburst Levy wanted him gone, maybe he relaised that fiannces...
No - it's more about the fans.
As fans we have to accept that the club is unable or unwilling to spend like the really big boys, so to re-build a squad will take more time (transfer windows) with us than it will some others. There is no magic bullet. Therefore when our manager (whoever he is as...
Seems like you and lots of others are missing / avoiding the point - which is why a £15M a year proven title winning manager (name irrelevant) would want to leave? Because I suspect most of the answers lead us to some uncomforatble home truths about OUR football club.
My 'fixation' is on achivements and appointments relative to age. You know like you would expect a striker who has played for 10 years to have a lot of goals on his record, and the better the league in which he scored those goals the more he would be rated.
I don't know for certain he was offered a new contract and if he was I don't know the terms - all I know for certain is that he asked for time and patience in a recorded press conference. I agree he is hardly likely to say he can't wait to go, but he didn't have to mention time and patience...
Really good post - I don't think we should be looking at 'faith' and 'belief', I think we just accept we are in re-build mode (again) and show patience and give Ange time to prove things one way or the other as long as we are not in danger of relegation. Chop and change disrupts the re-build...

That's one way of looking at it, but I did not mention reputation, I use the term CV (to clarify I mean managerial CV). Younger managers are unlikely to have a good managerial CV , so with them you accept there is a larger 'unknown' element** to an appointment.
It seems we have got someone with...
All those you name, what age were they when they won something at this level?
Ange is 58 and I question why no one in a top league has picked him up before now.
Fergie won a Eurpoean Trophy with a Scottich club beating Real Madridi in the final.
Peps cone boy will have learnt an lot from Pep and is putitng it to some use down the road
Klopp won 2 Bundeliga titles ( for clarity I look at the Prem, Italy, Spain, Germany and France as being the top...
Incorrect - I posted on Saturday that I want him given time (2+ seasons unless we are at risk of relegation) becuase I am fed up of chop and chnge - but that I do not know if he has what it takes to become a winner in the Prem becuase he has never won anything at this level.
So what is it in Ange's CV that leads people to believe he is a good choice as a long term project manger for a club that is aiming to challenge for Prem titles? He doesn't seem to stay anywhere that long at club level (so not very promising for a long term rebuild project) , he is 58 years of...
