I just don't think Sarr or Bissouma are having the impact they had earlier in the season.

    Seriously injured today?

Agreed but Biss and Sarr aren't exactly pulling up trees atm.

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Agreed. How long does it take to work on set pieces each week ffs and make sure we're not as poor as we have been?

I think Ange may also be at the stage where he's just rotating the midfield and front three because they're all a bit bang average at the moment. None of them are in form.

We huffed , we puffed, and did a lot of sideways passing and passing the buck with all the possession we had. We still lack initiative, penetration and creativity. We're not great at pressing. We're poor on 50/50s, transition and counterattacks and we're almost laughable on set pieces. PEH...

What's the point of those scarves? Are they polyester souvenirs for plastic fans?

84 pages on a fairly average player. I don't get it. But then I've just added to it! tee hee!

I predict we go to 2-0 up and they jammily win 2-3

This a list in bullet point/paragraph form made up entirely of mediocre players who won't ever be in form!

    Harry Kane

The whole Spurs team are missing him right now! Fingers crossed we address this in the summer.

If we are really continuing to be linked to him then it's a bit underwhelming (and expensive) to be honest. Would he get into Man City or Liverpool's starting eleven for example? Do we have any more ITK on this?

Ange has stated that long term team development is much more important than immediate results and CL qualification therefore I'm not sure why PEH is playing if he's not going to stay - unless it's just to piss Bissouma, Bentancur et al off and make them work harder to improve their form.

I think he worked well with Kane and misses that interplay as does Son.

This is SC remember - he has no time to adapt and must be world class yesterday!

    Alejandro "Álex" Baena Rodríguez

Good post. I guess we all draw the line somewhere but where? I'd take a peak level Suarez for example (despite the biting etc.) but Greenwood?

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Could someone with more coaching experience than me explain the 'revelation' by Dier that Conte did 10 vs 0 'walk throughs' in training but Ange doesn't. I would have thought that was an important part of 'tactical' training.

To be fair he did do quite a bit of half-hearted jogging, wasn't winning ball or 50/50s and seemed reluctant to either drive into space or pass more than 10 yards. Something is up with him. Being better than PEH isn't a very high bar.
