I feel the vibe in here is quite weird.
I'm a big fan of Lo Celso, but just a few months back A LOT of people wanted to get rid as soon as possible. After his lackluster start in our cup exit against Fulham some never wanted to see him again, then he came back and got instantly injured again...
He can be, and should be, forgiven for a lot. It's not an entirely fair situation he's been thrown into.
His shortcomings are what they are, but his lack of professionalism on the pitch is what bothers me the most. The number of times he switches off to raise an arm for offside, or plead for a...
This? As in what is happening on the pitch right now?
I haven't suggested it is on the fans and I'm not sure why are you asking me?
Edit: I even clarified I didn't mean on the pitch in the very post you are quoting.
But maybe partly responsible for the general feeling around the club and team?
Or are you arguing that fans are a completely pointless part of football?
Is this some kind of "told you so"?
Personally, I would've liked to see Lo Celso just like you, but that doesn't change that you phrased your criticism very oddly.
Why not? Conte felt he didn't, would it be so inconceivable that Ange have seen something similar?
But you are right, it sucks that we have to guess, and it's frustrating when what the players we currently use are so below par.
For my own sake, I'll just chose to believe there is a good...
Are there any available players out there whose strength is decision making?
Edit: This is serious btw. A lot of talk about players with flash and flair, but are there "smart" talents out there among those provided reports on in here?
Maybe. But he is still a good player, and Ange has said so himself.
In one way or another, Ange feels Lo Celso isn't buying into what we are doing. That doesn't mean the reason is bad enough to completely freeze him out.
Why do people act like Ange has something personally against Lol Celso?
Sure, based on what we've seen, it's odd that we're not seeing more of him (and I would love to), but he is either not being good enough in training or not having the right attitude (that wouldn't be the first time...
And everything feel so arbitrary. They might as well be flipping a coin on where they draw the line on things.
Thought we saw an excellent example of the VAR room not knowing how to do their job on Chelsea's first goal against us. They were ready to rule out the goal for offside on Cucurella...
Sure, I get that.
The only thing I'd argue against is him not being quick enough for a winger. He will never be a traditional winger, but we've seen it work with his skill set, and I think it's great we can have different types of players.
Either way, I don't think it's good for anyone if...
I think some people need to get real here. We're not going to sell him this summer.
We didn't pull the trigger on out buy option until Ange was in and consulted. Deki is even on record saying he was frustrated things didn't get sorted earlier, but that Ange wanted him when he had signed. Deki...
