Our pacy options in order of quality are Son, Johnson, and Werner.
Our non-pacy options are Kulu, Solomon, and Gil.
Our issues are with our non-pacy options.
We need those sort of players where the ball sticks when we play out and are comfortable beating a man in a one on one situation.
If we...
I think you have to judge him relative to what we currently have.
Out of our wide options he's been more useful than Kulu, Solomon, and Gil.
For me we get Timo in and Gil out then bring in a big hitter for Solomon or Kulu.
I like him, a Jack of all trades style CM who reminds me of the under appreciated Henderson.
I think him and Bergvall in for PEH and Skipp would be a significant upgrade.
I'm still not convinced Everton losing their dodgy funding, admitting to the offence (which would be obvious from the accounts anyway), and repeating the offence should be grounds for a ridiculously low points reduction.
It just smacks of the PL enforcing a punishment that has no real world...
The PL set a precedent with 10 points, realised it could relegate Everton so cut it to 6.
Now they have made it just 2 for the same offence when in my view it should be more for a repeat.
Very unfair on the rest of the bottom clubs in my view as the points deduction will have very little affect...
I'd still be looking at Toney.
I appreciate the betting scandal/interview has raised questions over his character but my barometer for attitude is what I see on the pitch.
Even watching him for a season at Peterborough he never gave anything less than 100% on the pitch despite being too good for...
I would imagine the data led approach allows us to target, for example, the top 20 midfield tacklers.
The ones that are out of our league or too old etc can be discounted then our best scouts can be sent to evaluate the top 5.
As opposed to having a large network of scouts sending in...
I enjoyed tonight and felt we were more expansive than I'd seen for a long time.
But he's let himself down again with Dunk, 32 years old and not international quality.
Just play Branthwaite. I'd even rather he called up Ashley Phillips (or some other u21 youngster) and stuck him on the bench...
At least it may be a sign Southgate's finally growing a pair.
There is absolutely no point in Phillips and Henderson featuring in squads anymore.
He must have registered the benefits of playing youngsters such as Foden, Saka, and Bellingham over the last couple of years so it's just an extension...
I think Werner and Johnson make excellent pacy subs, with the option to start if we would benefit using pace against teams that press so I think for £15 million it's a no-brainer.
I think the squad needs two more technical players who can keep the ball and create against a packed defence.
So...
There 's still plenty left in terms of growth with the Goods Yard development, Hotel and apartments, Naming Rights, 14 extra events, full financial effect of the karting track etc.
And if we could actually win a trophy as well our commercial value would also rise.
I can see Lewis/Levy sticking...
I'd guess it was down to the local community to decide between the boost to local food/beer outlets, shops and extra part time work against the inconvenience of road closures, saturated local transport, and tens of thousands of non-locals taking over.
I would have thought the majority were...
The original plan was always to go from 16 to 32 events.
But I always assumed it would be implemented after the West side of the High Road/Goods Yard was re-developed with the 'Tottenham walk' and various amenities that would help delay/disperse the crowds arriving and departing.
I'd be...
If the new owner believes Levy can continue increasing turnover etc at the rate he has over the last 20 years they will.
They might bring in a new DoF and first team manager to ensure success on the pitch but there may not be too many Chairman of football clubs that can deliver the financials...
I thought Lankshear's performance was excellent and he was up against a big, experienced, CB as well.
Donley, Santiago, and Scarlett were all up there too.
I'm surprised no-ones mentioned Nile John as I thought he was excellent in the middle.
Also surprised Charlton didn't play him more as he...
Thanks for the reply. I was looking all over the website for some kind of useful information but couldn't find it. Just loads of links to the standard ticket process.
Genuinely baffles me they can't add this kind of info to the email.
Anybody know when the e-tickets are posted out for the Fleetwood game on Saturday?
It's the first time I've bought tickets as a non-member so wondering why they didn't arrive with the confirmation email.
